Saving her

Damien raised his sword in anger, it was just an inch away from max’s face when he screamed

“CRYSTAL HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED”.

Damien's anger dissipated as he lowered his sword.

"Kidnapped? By who?" he asked, his tone serious.

"Liam. He took her to the supernatural border," Max replied, still trembling.

Damien's eyes widened in shock. He knew liam was greedy for powers but he had never thought he would go this far, he never imagined he would harm an innocent person for it.

"Get in the car, we have to go save her," Damien said, his voice firm.

Max nodded and quickly followed Damien to his car. They drove in silence, both lost in their own thoughts.

Damien couldn't stop thinking about how he had failed to protect Crystal. He had promised to keep her safe, but he had let her fall into Liam's hands. He knew he had to make it right and rescue her as soon as possible. If only he had follow his thoughts when he was sensing danger then this would have happened
