Chapter 23

Eden woke up with a pounding headache. She had way too much to drink last night. She was in her bed and looked down to see Astrid sprawled out on her floor. She looked like she fell from the bed last night.

The blond sat up and at once, memories started invading her mind. She remembered Malakai's words, him kissing her neck and then dragging her to the dance floor.

She remembered Malakai's hands on his waist, Eden's back against Malakai's chest as Eden's own arms were around Malakai's neck. She remembered dancing sensually to the music, she remembered Malakai's hands exploring her body.

And before she could remember anymore, a groan came from the floor, or more specifically, the girl on her floor who seemed like she just woke up.

"Give me a sec Addi, I'll give you some aspirin." Eden said and she got another groan in response. It took Eden a good 5 minutes to leave the bed.
