•Ice-cream Disaster•

Two hours later and Natasha had finally cleared up the playroom without any help from either Alex or Alexa. Alex tried to help, though, but he was just a little too playful and too small to be of any use. Alexa on her own part chose to sit on the couch and glare hard at Natasha while she worked.

After clearing up the last bit of dirt in the playroom, Natasha slumped into the couch and sighs tiredly. She was about to close her eyes and drift off to sleep when she heard a small, high and saucy voice say, “Is that the work you were hired to do?” Her eyes shot open and she sees Alexa standing in front of her, her arms folded. She sad up, rubbing her eyes tiredly. She tried to compose herself and forces out a smile. “Alexa, sweetie, what’s wrong?”

“I’m hungry.”

“Um, alright, let’s go to the kitchen, then,” she suggested. “Your dad says you have a chef.”

“Yes. Her name is Evelyn!” Alex quipped.

“I don’t want her food,” Alexa said.
