Author's pov

Antara stared at Nayanika's retreating self and thought what did she even say? Nothing makes sense to her! Anirudh was a bad fiancee to Nayanika that she understood but the rest was simply ridiculous to her.

Suddenly a familiar touch on her waist broke her chain of thoughts

"Any problems Jaan?" Anirudh asked and Antara shook her head in no immediately

"What did Nayanika tell you?" Anirudh asked in a dangerously calm tone

"Nothing she congratulated me and said that we are made for each other." Antara told him

Anirudh narrowed his eyes to find some lie in her eyes but he did not find any. So he nodded.

Soon enough the party came to an end and they left for their home.

Antara did not eat much and surprisingly Anirudh did not force her to eat nor did he eat much.

Antara was feeling tired; she just wanted to sleep after the whole thing. She was finding it hard to even keep her eyes open.

Anirudh saw that Antara was sleeping but did not bother her.
