Chapter 20 DAMIAN - Anna Finally Speaks Up
My heart cried out when I entered the ER and saw Anna’s condition. I can’t even look at her for long enough like that. What kind of horrible person who did that to her. I, as much as Brian does, wanted the one who did it to be found and paid what he did. However, seeing Anna’s condition and after hearing how the search went so far, I was skeptical if we can find the perpetrator.
In the past few days, me and Fai have come to the hospital regularly to accompany Brian. Anna didn’t say much so far but she slowly got better, she started to talk a bit and smile. Today is the fourth day and we still haven’t heard from Smith nor Jack. I stopped by at the hospital after work and found Fai was there, so was Smith and Jack. Both of them seemed about to give updates and I quickly sat with them after I took a glance at Anna, who slept soundly on the bed.
