Chapter 30 FAI - A Place Where We Belong

I saw Damian from far away, touching Olivia’s headstone. I took a deep breath and released it. ‘It’s over, Fai!’ I told myself. My eyes stared blankly at the open space of the cemetery. 

‘Olivia, I won’t forget you!’ I whispered to the wind

I got into my car and waited for Damian inside. When I saw Damian walking toward me, I got a text. It is Brian. 

‘Endgame?’

‘Yeah!’ I replied 

Damian opened the door and sat on the passenger seat. We left the cemetery, heading to the southeast. I drove the car for like an hour and we arrived at a vineyard. Both of us took off our suit and put it in the car. 

“It’s so quiet here,” I said as I sipped my wine
