“You sure you’ll be okay, man?”
“Yeah, just going to go shower. Then I’ll wake up and drink some more.” I said, dragging a hand over my face as we moved upwards.
“If you need anything, just call me or the front desk. It’s on the house.”
I nodded as the elevator doors chimed open, “I got it the rest of the way, 510 you said?”
“Yeah, you sure?” He asked, I could see the worry in his eyes.
“I am, key?” I held out my hand. Derrick opened his suit jacket, pulling the keycard out and handing it to me.
“I mean it, you need anything, just let me know.”
“I will,” I said, stepping out of the elevator, “Go be with your mates.”
He gave me a smile as the door slipped closed and I leaned against the wall, taking a deep breath. The world swirled around me and I knew that I needed to get a shower and fall into bed.
Pushing off of the wall, I dragged my fingers through my hair. Hanging on the wall as I stumbled down the empty hallway until I found my room. I shoved the keycard into the lock and twisted the knob before walking into the suite.
Something smelled amazing.
Frowning, I stepped inside. The door closing behind me with a sharp click. It seemed like I wasn’t alone after all.
Fucking Derrick, time to go kick some chick out of my room. Tomorrow I was going to kick his ass.
Moving towards the bathroom, a soft moan hit my ears, making my body half hard already at the sound.
The soft scent of rich coffee and chocolate hit my nose. I realized the smell was coming from whoever had let out that moan from the bathroom. The door was open and in the reflection of the mirror I could see her.
Honey colored hair clinging damply to pale shoulders, her eyes were closed. Hands beneath the bubbles. I wondered what she was doing with those hands. My body went from half hard to fully erect as I watched her.
I knew that I should let her know that I was here, but the whiskey had my brain foggy. If Derrick had sent her here, it was okay. Right?
Her cheeks were flushed with the heat from the water. She opened her eyes and I moved into the bathroom, I could indulge just this once.
It wouldn’t hurt anything, it wouldn’t hurt me. I wouldn’t get attached to her.
Her gray-green eyes met mine in the mirror and she let out a shriek. A shampoo bottle flew at my head and I wondered what Derrick was playing at.
***Sarah POV***
It felt like someone was watching me. Opening my eyes, I turned my head and let out a shriek before grabbing the bottle of shampoo and launching it at his head.
He caught it in his hand as I scrambled back against the far side of the massive tub. Trying not to slip and fall. I’d thought things were going to get better, but it seemed like I was about to be murdered in this nice hotel room.
He tilted his head to the side, his eyes glassy. He lifted an eyebrow up at me and I slipped, sinking beneath the bubbles. This was it, this was how I died.
I felt his hand in mine, hauling me from the water. His dark red hair falling into his eyes as he hauled me up against his chest. I sputtered, sucking in a breath.
“Who are you?” He asked, his arm moving around my waist to keep me from falling again. The bubble bath had made the porcelain slick.
“S, s, Sarah.”
“Sarah, I’m going to get you a towel.” His eyes moved to my lips. “Are you going to try to drown yourself again?”
“I wasn’t-” I shook my head, feeling my cheeks heat up. Maybe it was best if I didn’t say anything? He sat me down and I found my footing as he grabbed a towel, shaking it out and holding it out to me as he stepped back. His eyes cast upwards.
I took the towel from him, our fingers brushing against each other, and I felt something shoot through me. My eyes were glued to his t-shirt clad back as he turned and walked out of the bathroom, closing the door.
There had been a heat in his eyes before I had screamed. Almost like I was about to be devoured. I’d never been looked at like that before. A part of me wondered what it would have been like to be with someone like him.
Shaking my head, I wrapped the towel around my body as I pulled the stopper out of the drain. The alcohol must have hit me harder than I realized if I was thinking about banging some stranger.
No matter how well his jeans had hugged his ass or the way his muscular body had felt pressed against mine.
Opening the door, I stepped into the suite. He stood there, looking out the window, the moonlight painting shadows across his high cheekbones that looked like they could cut someone. A muscle in his jaw twitched. His arms corded with muscle, veins, and tattoos were crossed over his chest.
“Why are you in my room?” He growled out, I pressed my thighs together at the sound. What was wrong with me?
“You are in my room.” I said, pushing my hair behind my ear as his eyes shot to mine. There was that same hungry look. The towel suddenly felt like it wasn’t enough clothing and I turned away from him. “They upgraded my room when-”
“Stop.” His voice was gruff, halting me in place. “You can have the room.”
Turning back to him, I worried my lower lip. Wondering if this really was his room and if I’d eaten his chocolates and drank his whiskey? Was he going through a break up too, was that why he was here hiding away?
Chapter TwentyI undid the bottom tie of her top, then pulled the string behind her neck. She looked over her shoulder at me, her gray eyes wide. Already I could tell that the few bites she’d had were helping her. I pulled the shirt over her head, and she shoved her arms through the holes. “Keep eating, then I’m putting you to bed.”“Only if you plan to join me.” She said, giving me a look that made it hard to think of anything other than pinning her down and fucking her until she couldn’t move anymore. “No where else I want to be.” “Dom,” she said, turning away from me. “When I get home, I know what I’m going to do.”“What’s that?” I asked, wrapping my arms around her so her back was against my chest.“I’m going to move into Kane’s place and go back to work. You know, pick up the pieces.” I brushed her hair behind her shoulders, wrapping my arms around her waist. I wasn’t sure what to say to that. I didn’t like the jealousy that swelled up in the pit of my stomach. On the one han
Chapter NineteenI pulled her closer, tugging her swimsuit bottoms out of my way. I let go of her nipple, watching as she sank onto my dick. Sheathing me inside of her cunt. Her eyes slipped closed and she bit her lower lip. The shadows danced along her skin from the ocean breeze moving through the palm tree above us. She rolled her hips and I moved closer, taking her other nipple between my teeth and giving it a sharp tug before soothing it with my tongue. She rolled her hips in a circular motion and I groaned, releasing her nipple with a pop. Her eyes fluttered open and she worked herself on my dick. “Sarah, fuck me.” I growled and she did. Picking up the speed. The plastic creaking under her hands as she gripped the back of the lounger. I brought my hands up to her breasts, plucking at her hard nipples. Already I could feel the need to come moving up my spine. She drove me close to the edge of losing control faster than anyone I’d been with before.“Please,” she moaned.“Please
Chapter EighteenLeaning my head against his shoulder. “I wanted him to feel in control, so I put our apartment in his name. I pay for it, I loved him so much that I didn’t care.”“Sarah, you deserve to be loved. To have someone that will cherish you.”“I just wanted to make him happy.” I said, scrubbing at my eyes.“I know that you’ll find someone out there who wants you to be happy. Who will love you as you deserve to be loved. If I were with you, you’d never feel the way that he made you feel.” He chuckled, “I may collar you, so the rest of the world knows who you belong to. But you would be cherished. Free to flourish.”My heart beat faster at his words, that someone like him would want me. Want the world to know that I was his. “I don’t know if I could handle a collar.”He kissed my shoulder, “I don’t know, there is nothing sexier than a collar around a woman’s throat letting everyone know that she belongs to someone.” His lips moved lower and I tilted my head to the side. Could
Chapter SeventeenI leaned up kissing him, “There is a lot about me you don’t know.”His head tilted to the side, his finger twirling a damp strand of my hair as he looked down at me. “Was that my prize?”“You didn’t win.”“Neither did you.”“I don’t know about that, I got to kiss a very sexy guy.” “I think I’m the real winner.” Dom said, leaning closer to me. “Why is that?” “Because I get to kiss you.” His lips twitched as he moved down my body.“Dom, what are you-”“Kissing you.” He growled.“We’re in public.” My words were a rush as my heart pounded and I leaned up onto my elbows to look at him.“No one’s around.” He said, his fingers moving along the waistband of my swimsuit bottoms. “Dom.” I panted and he smirked up at me.Dom looked at me, lifting an eyebrow as he waited for me to say something. I didn’t instead; I watched as he leaned closer. His nostrils flaring, there was something so animalistic about him. About the way he seemed to hunt me down. He pressed his lips a
Chapter SixteenShe turned around and my mouth fell open, the bikini top pushed up her full breasts. Her skin bore love bites from last night, and my wolf wanted to howl in delight that we’d marked her in such a way. I wanted to claim her, to see my bite on that sweet spot low on her neck. “Swim with me?” She asked, turning towards the crystal blue water. Tossing my shirt onto the lounger, I all but tripped over my flip flops trying to follow her.***Sarah POV***The sand was warm between my toes as I ran towards the water. I’d never been to the beach before and seeing the ocean up this close was something I had always wanted. I stopped at the edge of the water, letting the waves splash up over my toes. It wasn't as cold as I'd thought it would be. “Sarah?” Dom asked, and I looked over my shoulder at him. “Never have I ever been to the beach.” I giggled and he grabbed my hand.“So this is another first that I’m getting to share with you?” Dom stepped closer to me, his hand coming
Chapter Fifteen“Romance, the hallmark-er the better.” I blurted out, feeling my ears heat up. Her face lit up and I could see that my answer made her happy. “I write romance, I live for that happily ever after.”“That’s how the best stories end. How about after this we go for a walk on the beach, maybe go check out some touristy things?”“I’d like that.”Breakfast was had with some light conversation and I found the more that I talked to her, the more that I was starting to like Sarah. Once we were done eating, Sarah and I changed into swimsuits. She pulled the sundress back on before tying her hair up into a messy bun. Topping it off with a large pair of dark sunglasses. She pulled out a striped beach bag, “Did you need me to carry anything for you?”I grabbed some sunscreen from my bag, handing it to her. Our fingers brushed as she took the blue tube from my hand. I felt sparks move along my skin. She sucked in a breath and I looked up at her, my lips twitching into a smile.
