Chapter Nineteen: I'll Do Whatever You Desire

Helping Carley to her room is a slow process. She is in so much pain from the beating she took this afternoon. She did well not letting her family see the extent of it, but now that she is alone with us, she shows her vulnerability. It is another change she has made, one I’m thankful for. This means she is no longer hiding crap from us like she did before she wrecked us by disappearing.

When she winces. I want to do more than frighten the piss out of those girls who damaged Carley’s body. I now want to make good on my threat to them. Sneak inside their homes while they sleep, slitting their throats with a red-hot blade so there isn’t such a mess, allowing them to die slowly due to suffocation and not quickly from the blood loss once I nick their carotid artery. They will scream but nothing will come out and no one at all will be able to help them. They will be all alone.
