LOGINJULIAN'S POV
"Why would you accept that? Have you forgotten that Fred is the male lead of the drama?" Abel seemed surprised.
I let out a deep breath, rubbed my sore nose, and smiled, "I know. But I also have a good feeling about that drama," I lowered my eyes slightly. "I want to make it in this circle, too. Let the director know that my father will invest in the drama, and all they have to do is let me take the second male lead role," I added, having made up my mind.
Convincing my father to support a drama for me was a very easy thing to do. He would gladly do it, too...
Abel shook his head, "You can't. You really can't accept that role. Have you forgotten? Fred is a scum. He would stop at nothing to suppress you. Taking that role is the same as delivering yourself to his doorstep. Don't do this, please," Abel pleaded.
"In this circle, only I know who your parents are. The film crew will surely side with the popular Fred and ignore an unknown 3rd rate star like you. You really can't accept this role, Julian," Abel's expression showed great resistance as he tried to convince me.
"If it's about getting roles. I can meet up with other agents and try my best to get resources from them. We will surely get another role for you. Don't worry about anything," He added, and with that, he started the car.
I was silent for a while. I had no specific reason to accept that role, but somehow, my heart really wanted it. Maybe because I wanted Fred to know I was doing fine even after our breakup, or I just wasn't resigned to this new fate, but I really wanted that role.
"I will call the director myself," I said stubbornly and brought out my phone to search for the director's line.
Abel stopped the car and turned around to face me. "Can you handle it? Will you be able to?" He asked softly, his eyes filled with care and worry.
Seeing that expression, I pursed my lips and nodded my head. "When I joined this circle, I only did it to get closer to Fred, so I had no passion for it. I pulled strings to help him grow while I continued having fun doing nothing, hoping that one day, when Fred was popular enough, I would quit this circle and reveal my identity to Fred. But things have changed. Now, I really want to act, I want to be popular in this circle. I will act, sing, and dance. I will show the world how talented I am and create a space for myself at the top. I will step on Fred and make him see who is lowly between him and me," I vowed.
"So, Abel, don't stop me, please. I really want to do this,"
"Alright," Abel's voice was slightly hoarse. "Alright, I will support you," He patted my lap with a big smile on his face.
Sitting right, he brought out his phone and soon dialed a number. "Hello, Mr. James, this is Abel, Actor Julian Everly's manager," He introduced himself to the other person on the phone.
"We called to schedule a meeting with you concerning the second male lead role you wanted Julian to act in. When will you be available?"
"Tomorrow? Oh, there? Okay,'
"Yes, thank you,"
He ended the call and took a long breath. "He agreed to meet tomorrow to talk over dinner. He sent the address already," He told me, and I nodded.
Having settled that, I finally relaxed and closed my eyes. It was time to start working for real...
"Take me to my parents' home. I don't feel very good," I told Abel.
My temperature seemed to be a little high, and the pain in my body seemed to have increased. I feared I was about to have a fever, and at a time like that, it was better to rest on my mother's lap to recover.
"Alright," Abel didn't argue with me and immediately turned the car to drive to my parents' house.
"Julian, you're back. It's been so long, but you remember your mum again today," My mother hugged me as she lamented with a voice full of grievance. "You've grown so big now that you don't care about your mother anymore," She continued.
Knowing that it would take hours for her to stop, I returned the hug and rested my slightly hot head on her shoulder so she would notice my condition.
As expected, her lamentation stopped, and she quickly broke the hug. She looked at my face, her soft eyes showing concern, "What's wrong with you? Do you not feel good?" She asked, touching my forehead.
I squeezed her hand gently and nodded, "I think so. Let's go in, Mum. I don't want to stand for too long," That was needed.
Standing for too long made my butthole hurt more, and groaning would make my mother notice that something was wrong, which must absolutely be prevented.
I followed my mother into the house, and just when I was about to slip into my room, my eyes caught my grandmother, who was peeling oranges and watching a movie in the sitting room.
I frowned slightly, I wasn't very close with my grandmother as she nagged a lot. "What's grandma doing here?" I whispered, making sure not to let her hear me.
My mother smiled, her fingers gently pinched my sore waist, "You should say hi to your grandmother first. Can't she come around?" She whispered back, and my frown deepened.
I shook my head, "Grandma doesn't leave her home that easily. She must be here for something. Quickly tell me, Mum. I have a bad premonition," I whispered back, urging my mother.
My mother looked into my eyes and laughed. "Bad premonition? Silly child. Your grandmother is here to discuss your marriage with the Creeds. It's that time already, the marriage agreement should take effect," my mother explained.
EPILOGUEJULIAN Grandmother Alice and my grandmother both held one boy and one girl while the remaining boy was being held by my husband, Xavier. The room was filled with guests as it was our children's year birthday. The babies: Finn, Leo, and Mia all had a smile on their faces as they were held behind the grand cake that was made for them. Looking around the room, I saw Abel, Director James, and a few people working in Xavier's company. They all gave their gifts and wished the children well. Xavier held my hand, squeezing gently as a hearty smile bloomed on his face. The ceremony continued for a while before Xavier handed the baby over to my mother. I followed him to my mother and poked the baby's cheeks. His round cheek pulled as he opened his small mouth and laughed. The baby looked cute... He was the only one who looked exactly like me. Taking after both my eyes and tender face. I knew without even conducting a test that he was an omega. The rest, Finn and Mia, were bo
JULIANXavier and I sat at grandmother Alice's bedside, listening to her weak voice as she told us stories about her past. I rubbed my cheeks that were starting to ache after laughing for a whole afternoon. "Grandmother, so what made you leave the military?" I asked with eager eyes. Grandmother Alice chuckled and feigned a pitiful expression. "Of course, I got pregnant." She revealed I exhaled, showing shock. "Really?" "Yes. I had to follow my husband after that." Xavier shook his head. "I bet that was the main reason."Grandmother Alice's cheeks burned red as she raised her hand to knock Xavier's shoulder. We all laughed at her action. Right then, the door creaked, and turning around, I saw a doctor walk in. He approached with a smile and greeted Grandmother Alice. "The surgery was successful, Grandma, but you know you still need a lot of rest, right?" He asked in a kind voice. Grandmother Alice's face grew tense at the doctor's words, and she glanced at my belly. "But doct
JULIANI watched as Xavier dropped the call and began typing on his phone. I had a bad premonition. "What's the issue? Did something happen at work?" I asked curiously. Xavier shook his head. He looked into my eyes and his lips pressed into a thin line. "It's about you." He mumbled "About me?" I was surprised. What could it be?"Tell me," I said. Xavier's eyes flickered with anger. His soft expression turned into coldness, and his jaw clenched. "Someone revealed that you got pregnant without marriage." He mumbled. His tone was low and filled with worry. He held my hand and squeezed gently. "I told you this because I know you are strong." He said. Looking into his eyes, I could see the immense sincerity in them, which surprisingly distracted my thoughts from the reveal online. The corners of my lips pulled up in a soft smile, and I patted the hand that held mine. "Hm. I'm fine." I nodded. This was true. I had always feared being exposed and even once wished this day would ne
JULIAN"Some fun?" I asked, feigning ignorance. Xavier's smile deepened. His fingers trailed along the lines of my legs, and he winked. "Something that will make you feel good." He said, his voice being low and seductive. My throat parched and heat formed within me. "Pervert." My tongue let out. Xavier let out a chuckle as he pulled my legs, making me lie flat on the couch, and he pressed a kiss on my lips. The warmth covered me whole, pushing back every distracting thought in my heart. Wait... thoughts?Xavier, you bastard! He actually changed my topic!!!I stretched out my hands, ready to give him a punch, but I... ended up hugging him instead, and the kiss deepened. Um... I guess I've been charmed. *************A message popped up on my phone, waking me up from my short nap, and checking my phone, I realized it was a message from Abel. "Check the FESTERING HEART Crew group." I read the message, and my brows creased. Festering heart? What happened? But I still clicked on
JULIAN"Who else knows about this?" I asked through difficult breathing. Fred shook his head. "No one else did. I've been trying my best to keep the secret from you." He explained. But that only scared me more. Fred was a scum and no word from his tongue could be trusted. I stared into his eyes, trying to see if he was deceiving me, but this thought was quickly forgotten by me as Fred wasn't someone I could easily read into. If that was possible, I'd have found out he was deceiving me when we were dating back then. I'd have found out he never loved me...But he was cunning. He'd never let out his real feelings. I clenched my fist and tried to control my breathing as I was starting to feel weak from within. "Don't ever tell anyone," I said hoarsely. Fred shook his head. "I will never tell anyone." He said solemnly. But it was hard to put my mind at rest... I braced myself, stood right, and glared at him. I tried my best to look menacing as my lips parted: "If I hear this fro
JULIAN I stared at the silver drink inside the cup, and my heart thumped. What if the alcohol harmed my babies? "I don't want to," I said in a low voice, pushing the cup back to the actress. Her expression changed as blush crept to her cheeks. "Ah, Mr Julian, can't you give me a little face?" She asked, blinking. I could tell she was embarrassed. My eyes glinted with hidden resentment as I looked at the female actress. Her words had attracted the attention of the rest, and everyone was looking at us with questions in their eyes. Not taking the drink from her would make them think I was arrogant. But taking it from her... what would happen to my babies?I secretly glanced at my belly, and my heart felt heavy. What was I supposed to do?The thoughts crossed my mind, and my eyes slowly stilled. Annoying the people here wouldn't matter much anyway. I might never see them again after the drama aired...I stretched my hand forward, ready to take the cup and drop it aside, but a slen
