Chapter 37

Darin's POV

We didn't notify anyone in the pack except Cisco and Caden who weren't following us to this fight. Aside from them, nobody knows.

Even the guards Ducalion had Riel prepare didn't know where we were going. Ducalion was never one to trust, neither am I or Duncan.

You can never tell, they might be a spy in the pack who could ruin our plains. I have never trusted anybody, our parents ruthless murder that we have to watch with our eyes taught me that.

"Are you ready?" Ducalion asked from beside me.

"Yeah, I'm always ready." I replied.

"Are you nervous? You seem tense." He questioned again.

"Why would I be nervous? I have been to hundreds of fights, remember." I replied, putting on a little smile to hide my nervousness.

"That's good then." Duncan replied to me this time.

"Alright then, let's get going." I got into the backseat, along with Duncan. The driver behind the wheel but Ducalion and Riel were taking the other cars.

The guards could fit in about three cars so

I demanded."Darin will, my sweet brother here will help me take care of work in my absence." He replied smiling and gesturing to Darin who immediately scrunched his face."Never, I will say it again. Never in your life call me sweet again. And come on, I won't do your work for you, I have mine already stacked up." Darin hissed."What do you need a two month break for anyway? That sounds like you are trying to run away from your responsibilities."
