Chapter 26

Rose sat across from Autumn, who sat silently on the couch opposite her with tears streaming down her face. After fleeing from the grocery store as fast as they could, Rose came back to Micheal's house, "I'm sorry," Autumn whispered as Rose shook her head, "Just why, Autumn, why didn't you tell me this happened to you?" She asked as tears welled up in her own eyes as Autumn sniffled, "You had s-so much going on with Joshua being in the hospital, Kevin going crazy, and your pregnancy that I didn't want to worry you any more than you already were," she said as Rose's eyes soften at the confession. 

"Autumn, do you hear yourself?" Rose asked as Autumn sniffles, "Before I met Kevin, you were there caring for me, loving me," she paused as tears streamed down her face, "Before I met Joshua, you were there caring for me, l-loving me," she chocked as Autumn broke down while trying to wipe her tears that kept flowing, "And before I was impregnated with this child, you were there
