CHAPTER SIX

Kelvin’s P.O.V

I couldn't believe it when the CEO accused me of being a stalker simply because I accidentally entered her office.

I had stayed overnight to finish my work and needed something to keep me awake. I mistakenly pressed the wrong button on the elevator while trying to get snacks from another floor, and didn't realize my mistake until I arrived.

I should have trusted my instincts and stayed away from unfamiliar areas, but I foolishly did the opposite and it led me to be labeled as a creep.

It was clear that I couldn't win her over; she disliked me and wouldn't believe anything I said.

"I'm sorry," I reluctantly admitted.

I probably should have stood up for myself, but I was exhausted at that point. Even if I decided to defend myself, it wouldn't change her opinion of me.

I thought I had done a good job of avoiding her these past few months, but fate managed to bring us together and put me in a terrible situation whenever I was around her.
