11 A lesson

-Aaron Black-

Elaina's gaze stuck on the handsome man. She couldn't resist and her eyes makes contact with his beautiful hazel-blue eyes. Within two seconds, her gaze averted from him.

Aaron looks at her and sighs. He remembers her words. She blackmails him, indeed. His anger rose, but this time whom it will blast, only he knows.

He looks at Jose and then back at Elaina. He roars, "Who are you?"

Elaina suddenly looks at him with confusion. Her gaze is stuck on Aaron's angry, yet charming face. Elaina feels insulted, she knows and accepts that no one knows about her and Aaron's relationship, but he should not ask her like this before his employees.

She feels like he is facing a ghost at this time. Her eyes' corner fills with unshaded tears. His cold gaze is glued to her face. It is angry and emotionless.

"Ask her..." Aaron looks at Jose. Jose hesitates and smirks at Elaina.

"Who are you, Miss?" Jose asks confidently. Jose knows how Aaron treat woman, so he was overconfident that Aaron would not let her go easily. Every person in the company knew that Aaron hated women and they are not allowed to work under him. There is no chance for this girl to get any sympathy from Aaron.

"Elaina..." Elaina replies with embarrassment. She would cry anytime in such an awkward situation. She decides from inside that she will never visit the office, again. Her bravery is slipping from her hands.

"Full name..." Aaron's voice echoes again. The utter silence and his roaring sound arouse goosebumps in all employees. Every employee felt pity for Elaina because they knew that lastly, Elaina has to suffer.

Elaina Black..." She replies emotionlessly.

"I ask your full name," Again the cold voice. It reverberated on the floor due to silence.

Now, Elaina is angry. Literally, he is insulting her. She feels disgusted and decides to leave. She roars back at him-

"Elaina Aaron Black."

Her gaze is stuck on Aaron. She is angry now and her fear ran out of the city this time. She thinks, "Everyone needs to learn from this man, how to insult wife?"

He repeats, "Mrs Elaina Aaron Black."

His tone is enough to clear everyone. Her head snaps as he speaks her name. He never hears him introducing her as his wife. Her name from his mouth creates butterflies in her stomach.

His gaze moved Jose. His sharpness is enough to Shiver Jose. He didn't say anything to him and his gaze moved to Elaina. She is still standing numb.

"Duke..." His stern voice becomes his silent command. He disappears from there within a second, but not without her. He grabs her hand and leads her inside her chamber in a few seconds. She needs more seconds to process the scene.

Elaina is well aware of the mafia's thinking. Aaron makes her stand before him and raises her right hand. He sees her skin. The way, he looks at her wrist, she thinks, "Don't hurt him. He wasn't aware who I'm."

The anger on his face is like a fire. She gulps with fear and feels pity for that boy. He twitched her wrist making her scream with pain. He throws her hand and it hurts too. He removes his tux and tosses it in the air. It falls on the floor.

He loosens his tie and sat on his chair, resting his head. He is still looking damn hot. Elaina doesn't know how to start the conversation. She is talkative, but his angry look doesn't let her speak anything.

She placed the tiffin box on the desk and sighs, "Please, don't fire him. He didn't know who I'm."

Elaina gets a lot of courage to say the above words to Aaron. She assumed that he would fire the guy.

He rapidly got up and slammed the desk harshly. She steps back and says, "I'm leaving. please, Eat on time."

"Stop..." He roars. She stops at her place.

Aaron sets straight, putting his elbows on the desk, intertwining her fingers. He says, "What do you expect about Jose?"

Elaina shrugs off, as it is unpredictable for her. He says, "If Dad knows about this, he will lecture me. So it is necessary to teach him a lesson."

Before Elaina could exit, Aiden knocks on the door, but he is already in while knocking. Aaron looks at him with irritation. Aaron's gaze is enough to make Aiden fearful.

"Ops! I'm sorry. But I got a call from, Mom. You didn't pick up her call - she complained. And she asked you to have brunch with your wife," Aiden speaks so rapidly.

"Okay, maybe you need some private time with your wife," Aiden steps back to exit the room.

"Shut up and get out," Aaron sneers. His stern gaze at Aiden makes Elaina smile. She wonders some time, Aaron and other family members are different.

"The meeting is late as guests are late," Aiden says before disappearing from the cabin.

"Sit and serve me," Aaron says without looking at her. He goes to wash his hands and comes back. She is still standing in the same situation. He snaps at her and brings her back to reality. She checks the time, she is getting late for university.

She looks here and there when a servant knocks on the door. He let him in and the servant leaves a trolly with utensils and some food.

"It's awkward," She thinks and starts serving him food.

"You can eat with me," He allows in a cold tone.

"The voice is too much cold, even beggars won't eat if he offers this way," She thinks while staring at the plate.

"Did you say something?" He asks while eating.

"No, nothing," She sighs and thinks, "Did I speak aloud?"

"Eat here, otherwise you will say that I don't treat you like a gentleman," Aaron rudely says.

"No, thanks. I had breakfast in the morning," Elaina replies and hesitates, "May I go?"

"Eat," He again orders. She gulped with fear and sits next to Aaron.

with an Awkward silence, Elaina and Aaron ate food. Neither anyone says anything nor shares a look while eating. Elaina clears everything and packed the empty tiffin. She is about to leave when his voice again stops her.

"Do you wanna see a lesson given to Jose?" He grabs the remote and presses a key. The big plasma screen enlightens and shows many camera screens. He chooses a particular one and it makes her shiver. It was so rapid, she couldn't process the moment.

"What the hell?" Elaina screams and steps back. She falls on the couch.

"You belong to the Mafia family. You should not behave like this, coward girl," Aaron smirks at her.

"Are you a human? I doubt," Elaina almost shouts, but controls her voice.

She didn't get any response from Aaron.

"You are a demon," Elaina's eyes filled with tears. she feels pity and scared.

"Yeah, you can compare me with Demon Salvatore," Aaron smirks and steps to his chair. The vigorous smirk irritates her more.

"I think Demon Salvatore is much better than you," Elaina exhaled deeply.

Aaron sits back in his place and turns off the plasma screen. Elaina hid her face between her palms and cried. She feels bad for Jose.

Aaron's other personality as a Mafia is hard to be accepted by Elaina. She never predicts Aaron a Mafia. It took many days to accept the fact. She exits the room rapidly and ran toward the elevator lobby. Nina was already there and waiting for her.

As Elaina got into the car, she speaks closing her eyes, "Drive me home."

"Are you okay, Ma'am?" Nina offers her a water bottle. Elaina grabs it and opens the lid. Drinking it half, she hands over it back to Nina. Nina drives her home.

Elaina was lost in her past days. She closes her eyes and the scene flashes before her closed eyes.
