Festin's POV

When I saw Kolan walking into the auditorium, I shuffled over to her and pulled her aside. There has been a whole different turn and what we needed to do what to act fast. The son that I knew so well even though we were never seen eye to eye, was capable of dealing with anybody who crossed him. And could kill without batting an eye if need be. So, when it did involve a close person that I knew, there was no time to delay getting him out of there.

"Festin, you look worried. What's–"

"We heard about something and we needed to know for sure the progress of it."

Kolan glanced over at the others staring at us from down below, including Thugh. "Is this about Dein, your wife's brother and your son?"

"I think you're taking the words from my mouth, Kolan."

She sighed and stepped out of the auditorium and I went with her. I know she's a witch but, hey, who wouldn't want to know how it got to her ear.
