{Ciril’s POV}

The atmosphere was properly heated now.

I had the confirmation that it was the Dark One's presence that was causing such a heat wave because he was right here before me…

I didn’t know how to react… or what to expect.

Everywhere around was somewhat shady so I couldn’t really catch a proper glimpse of what this Dark One looked like.

I could only see his form from where he was standing at a distance because of his red glowing eyes. It was as if, with his presence, the night grew darker.

The Dark One was stationary now as he stared— most likely taking in our numbers and the sight of the Palace, so I used the moment to do the same.

I drove my gaze from left to right now, roaming it across the stretch of his legions of Ferals. They were growling aggressively but they were also on the line, obediently positioned behind the Dark One— being made to do so by his powers.

It was evident— all this was due to a conjuring or voodoo of some sort.

I think you should publish a bit faster, by just letting us read more than 1 chapter at a time. Great book so far but very long. it'd be better if I could read the entire book all at once. I've read 5 other complete books while waiting for new chapters, crazy
