{Ciril’s POV}

It was time to deal with Abasha and I was really inclined to do so. I hungered to spill her blood… but then I needed to give a moment for talks and narrations, like I had done with the fallen-others on my list.

I smiled at her now, my switching from a frown to a smile stunning her. She looked confused with my smile.

“So what’s your own narration?” I asked her now and she frowned a bit in confusion.

“What narration are you talking about?” She asked while I started to pace around the scene before her. The Alpha Queen and King growled aggressively at me while I did but Abasha was still holding their chains so they couldn’t attack. Hence, I ignored them.

“I don’t know. Where is your own yapping?” I asked and proceeded to explain. “Usually everyone who had been on my list had had something to say— a mean speech to give about my miserable past and about how they still think I’m miserable, so what’s yours?” I said to her and stopped walking, sending my hands behind my back a

  • CHOSEN   Chapter 197 ~ Totem Spirit Animals

    {Ciril’s POV} The Dark One smirked… and then he stood motionlessly before us.He didn’t do anything. He didn’t need to do anything because there was now something that was going to do it for him.Kiba… my totem spirit animal.He was now a Feral, in flesh and in blood, and I stared at him with shock and heartbreak. It had all happened so fast that I was also scared and confused now. I hadn’t been expecting this turnout in the slightest.This Dark One had used me. He had said I would help him balance things and I had done just that by ignorantly sending Kiba after him and not paying attention to his intentions. And now, I was helpless. Kiba was growling at me. Control had been transferred from me to the Dark One as Kiba was directly facing me, growling at me. The Dark One willed it so and because of this, I was out of moves. Tears glossed my eyes as I saw Kiba slowly turning from healthy to withering. His fur had gone completely dark and dry now and I dreaded the rest of the proces

    Chapter 195{Ciril’s POV} When he said he could control fear, I didn’t know he meant it literally. But now he had explained what he meant with an illustration. I was frozen in the air before him.I was the illustration. My own fear had been unknown to me until he mentioned it and was right about it. I was scared and even though I wasn’t showing it, he could sense it. I wasn’t showing it because I was in the Superior State and all I could do was glare and scowl, but then somehow he had perceived it… and was now using it against me. Literally.I growled… and could only growl. There was no fear in my growling volume but from the expressive depth of my chest, there apparently was as this was what he was using to control me. I groaned in strain and anger and soon, I was forced out of the Celestial State. His manipulation made my emotions clash. Since my triggering emotion was anger in this case, the Dark One’s manipulation of me made more fear soak into me, along with panic, dread, an

  • CHOSEN   Chapter 195 ~ Fear

    {Ciril’s POV} Breath…I started towards the Dark One.The war was still ongoing, with the Ferals having a slight edge over us since they outnumbered us from the start. This was the case, so I needed to kill the Dark One sooner than later. Hence, I made my way to him now with resolve in my veins, but then as I got close, I was bashed from the side by one of his henchmen.I almost fell, but then I didn’t. I only trembled before turning to face the Feral.Stupid Mistake.I lunged at him at once… and before he could dodge or attack, I bashed my fist against his chest to send it the the ground… but then my fist went right through. My hand came out from behind him and with that, I swung my arm so that he left my sight and crashed at a distance as a disfigured mass.There was one more henchmen feral around and it started towards me now while I just glared in my glowing rage. But then I wasn’t glaring at the Feral as it came. I was glaring at the Dark One. The Feral was secondary. Insigni

  • CHOSEN   Chapter 194 ~ Time To End This

    {Ciril’s POV} “I’m not scared of you!” “You will be.”“You don’t have any power over me! The Dark One rules supreme!”“Nah. Light will triumph over darkness. That’s how it has always been.”“You will die an agony-filled death!” “Maybe. But I’m not dying today. Someone else is taking up that role.” I told Abasha and smirked only just a little. Abasha had thrown her claws out and was breathing hard in her fear as I trudged towards her in my readiness to fight her. But then I stopped a short distance from her now and didn’t attack. She growled at me as I finished responding to her words with a slight smirk and then she grew confused when I didn’t attack her. I just stood there. I wanted this fight to go differently— I wanted her to be the one to make the first attack. I wanted her to blow me so that she would make me very angry… and I would take over from there. Hence, I stood and just stared now.“Yes, you won’t die. You will perish!” He voiced at me now while I just responded casu

  • CHOSEN   Chapter 192 ~ Just One More Interruption

    {Ciril’s POV} I might have been blessed by the moon goddess to become her Vessel but sometimes I really feel like I have an ill-fate.Of all the werewolves on this brutish ground, I was the one who Gordius chose to attack. Why?!He was a vicious Feral now but he had been someone who wasn’t an enemy to me back when he was living. In fact, he had been the Seer who had helped save me back when I was just a Cub… and now, I was to fight him. I was to kill him because if I didn’t, I would be the one losing my life. Isn’t that I’ll-fate?He growled at me loudly now, bringing me back to consciousness and I started to pace away slowly as I gestured for him to calm down.Because of him, I had to come out of the Celestial State as facing him in that State wasn’t an option since I didn’t view him as an enemy. “Gordius.” I muttered as gently as I could. “It’s.. it’s me, Ciril.” I said to him with a genuinely friendly tone but then the next thing I saw were claws being swung at my face. I made a
