"Class dismissed," the professor stated.

The class had ended, and it felt like the time moved fast while I was so busy staring at Daxton Astrid. I couldn't believe myself either that I was so lost in him.

The 3K's stood up and left the room while my eyes didn't leave him until they were gone. I did not realize that I was suppressing my breath just when they were out of my sight. After that, the room began to fill with noises because the students here in the room had for sure felt the tension that the 3K's had given.

I took a deep breath after that, feeling a little at ease now than earlier.

Not long after the 3K's were gone, Gabriella elbowed me.

"Care to repeat again your viewpoint about the 3K's?" Gabriella said, mocking me as she laughed.

She then also tapped Anne's back.

"Going crazy about those guys?" Gabriella asked, now mocking the two of us.

I shook my head, "O-Of course not! I would never worship someone!" I exclaimed, sounding more defensive than I actually was.

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   A Prophecy

    - Maive's POV - I didn't know what to say, I was speechless as my mind was clouded with thoughts.I realized that the rumor about vampires who had attacked the land of Werewolves was all over the university. Now, I don't think it was a rumor. Not when everyone knows about it.I should be worrying about that. However, my mind could still vividly remember the dream I had last night. It was such a coincidence to see Daxton bleeding, knowing that he had fought vampires yesterday. I don't believe in such coincidences that much, especially when it feels so real. However, why would Daxton look soft and humane when he is full of darkness and coldness all over him? Although, I was hoping to see him like that somehow.I sighed. If I think about that dream again, why would a great werewolf like him dare to visit me at night and... smile at me? I have to add to the fact that we have always been distant from each other despite the feelings I have for him. Analyzing those facts made me accept that

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   Not a Dream

    - Maive's POV -Shock was just an understatement, my heart almost exploded to see who was the man behind my window. I didn't know what to feel as my heart kept beating erratically, and I was sure that the fear I was feeling earlier was gone. I wanted to open my mouth, but it remained shut. I couldn't even feel my breathing as I was agape at the man in front of me."W-Why a-are y-you here..." At last, my voice came out, but I was terribly trembling. Because even with the darkness of the dawn night, I could still see his face clearly. He was like a diamond shimmering from the brightness of the full moon. He shone so bright that his face was full of enormous beauty which entices anyone who could see.The man in front of me was the least person I expected. I had to momentarily scratch my eyes to check if I was really seeing someone who seemed impossible to be here. But even then, the great Daxton Astrid was still in front of me.He was staring at me with an expression I couldn't decipher,

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   Everything About Her is Mine

    - Daxton's POV -I beheaded the last standing vampire on this border and stood straight when one of my men approached me."My Lord, the vampires have already been taken down. The South and the Eastern borders are now stable and under control," he reported as he bowed his head.I nodded at him in response, which meant he could go ahead. He bowed once again and then walked away. I was about to go on my way when someone showed up behind me."My Lord, we have to go back to the castle to treat your wound," I heard Karl say, which made me turn my back to face him.I was a little careless earlier to receive such a scar from the knife of a mad vampire. Though it was a little deep, I was already numb to even think of pain."Don't mind it, just a little scar. Lead our men and go back to the castle, take the wounded to the pack doctor and make sure they will be treated," I stated, but he was hesitating as he stood in his spot, looking at me."My Lord, I-I hope you d-don't mind me asking, but w-w

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   Black Witches Invasion

    - Daxton's POV -If you asked a man to choose between a gun and a sword in a battle, only a fool would choose a gun. A wise man would definitely choose a sword rather than a gun.A gun could definitely be used for long-distance enemies, except that well-trained werewolves would be smart enough to sense it and dodge easily. Gun cocking and gunshots would be heard easily. On the other hand, a swordsman could silence both his breathing and his movements when wielding a sword. How could you avoid an attack from someone who was never sensed? You would never escape it.I stared at my sword. It had been a long time since I last used it."My Lord..." My Beta, Kart, one of the most trusted men in our family, called as soon as he entered my room.I stood up as I looked outside my window; it was the middle of the night, and only the reflected light from the moon made everything visible. I could easily sense that something was going on."Vampires have passed the northern borders. Several werewolv

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   I Am the Reason

    - Maive’s POV - It was getting dark. The sun had already set, yet I could feel cold sweat running down my forehead. My whole body froze as fear crawled over me. I was scared that my life would end right here just because I wanted to know about my late father’s life. Just because I wanted to find my family.“I… I a-am…” My voice trembled as I tried to speak. I stopped for a few seconds, my mind racing to find the right words that would make the man lower his gun. “D-daughter of Z-Zoren Underwood.”The moment I said those words, I saw disbelief flash across his eyes. He stared at me, scanning me from head to toe. Then, slowly, he lowered his gun and kept it at his side. His face, which had looked so scary and cold moments ago, turned calmer but still guarded.“Show me your identity card,” he said. His voice wasn’t as sharp as earlier but still firm.My hands were shaking as I quickly searched through my bag. My heart was still racing after that little encounter with him. After some min

  • CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA   His Absence

    - Maive’s POV - After Daxton gave me the paper with my relatives’ information, he never came back to class for the rest of the day. A part of me was relieved because I could finally breathe without his overwhelming presence, but another part of me felt disappointed because I didn’t get to see him again.Honestly, a big part of me wanted to see him every second that passed by. It was crazy how empty everything felt when he wasn’t around. His presence was too much when he was here, almost suffocating sometimes, yet when he was gone, there was this emptiness that I couldn’t ignore. Was he the one I had been searching for all this time?I sighed as my thoughts ran endlessly. I couldn’t wait for classes to be over so I could focus on visiting my father’s family. Even though Daxton wasn’t around, my mind was filled with thoughts of him and the address he gave me.My imagination started running wild. I kept thinking about the possible reactions of my father’s family when they finally met me
