Chapter 20- Hot And Cold

All eyes zoomed in on Laureffaine as she continuously hit her plate with her spoon. She was still oblivious to that though.

"Laure", Xavier called to her.

She furrowed her eyebrows. Neither had she realized all eyes were on her or the fact that she had been picking at her food.

She kept scratching her arms too, she just felt hot and at the same time cold. But the hotness was eating her up.

"What's wrong?", He asked her.

"Nothing Xav, excuse me", Laureffaine replied, then excused herself.

She couldn't even eat her food. She was anything but hungry. She felt on edge and it was like her body was going to be set on fire any moment from now.

She just wrapped her arms around herself as she stood up.

"Laure", Xavier called again as she walked away.

"Let her go love", Kate said politely to Xavier.
