Chapter 27 - The Vessel

She hated the fogs. It really did hurt her eyes, plus for her, they were quite scary too. You wouldn't know the shadow lurking behind the fog.

The snow made her feet ticklish too. The crunchy sound that was a result of her steps made her conscious of her surroundings.

When did winter even come? This was the very question she asked herself. The woods were normally cold but then they weren't in winter.

As much as she tried to remember the last occurrences in her life she just couldn't. There was not a single thing that she could remember.

Everything was just so confusing for her. She held her head in her hands as she rested against a tree.

"Oh it's you again?", a little voice whispered right behind Laureffaine.

Her eyes fluttered open as she turned to look at the owner of that little voice. It was just a teenage boy who looked wildly familiar.

But then, she had no idea where she met him before or where he was even from. She was just like an empty vessel roaming the streets.
