~ANNIKA~

I stood in the hallway of the hospital, my heart filled with joy as I clutched the pregnancy test results in my trembling hands, a surge of excitement and anticipation ran through my veins.

With newfound purpose I walked briskly towards the exit, each step filled with renewed energy and hope, a radiant smile gracing my lips, growing wider as each moment passed.

As I carry this precious secret as though I am floating with the joy In my heart propelling me forward.

Today marked a special milestone in our 4 year anniversary. I couldn't wait to see the look on Angelo's face when I shared the exciting news.

I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed his number, barely containing my enthusiasm. Every ring felt like an eternity. When the call went unanswered, I felt a fleeting moment of disappointment.

However, my joy was soon restored as I remembered Angelo mentioning he'd be coming home early from work today. This news only added to my anticipation.

I longed for the moment when I could gaze into Angelo's eyes and share the incredible news that now filled my heart. "I'll head home and prepare dinner," I whispered to myself, a plan beginning to unfold.

With renewed hope and a bright smile, I drove home from the hospital. As I arrived, the fresh scent of afternoon sunshine enveloped me.

I changed into a comfortable yet elegant gown, styling my hair to perfection. The excitement was building up inside me, and I couldn't wait to share the news with Angelo.

I sat on the dinner table with my phone, thinking if I should call Angelo or just wait a little longer, minutes turned into hours, Angelo is home late again.

My heart filled with doubt, had he chosen not to retire home or forgotten about our anniversary today, I whisper in fear.

I was exhausted, and the excitement I'd felt earlier was fading. I considered going to bed but was jolted awake by the sound of Angelo's car downstairs.

I quickly got out of bed and peeked downstairs, seeing his black Chevrolet reversing into the parking lot. Hope reignited within me, dispelling the darkness.

The front door creaked open, and with joy in my heart, I rushed to the entrance, ready to embrace Angelo. But I paused, disappointed, as he staggered in, reeking of alcohol.

Despite this, I was relieved he was home safely. "You're back," I said, taking his briefcase and jacket. "Let's go upstairs so you can freshen up before dinner."

As I supported Angelo's arm, he suddenly drew me close, his lips pressing against mine in a passionate kiss. I felt his heartbeat against mine, and my shock caused me to drop his belongings.

Torn between desire and caution, I hesitated, worried about potential risks, especially given my pregnancy. Yet Angelo's intensity persisted, and memories of our past began to overshadow my doubts.

As he drew me closer, I felt our familiar connection and the tenderness that had become a part of our relationship.

His lips taste familiar and inviting, beckoning me to surrender to the moment. I longed for a calm, romantic time like this.

He took me off my feet and swooped me up in his arms, his drunken state only adding to the romance of the moment.

I giggled as he stumbled slightly, I couldn't resist the charming smile on his face, even as he staggered slightly. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he carried me up the stairs, his hot breath sending shivers down my spine.

As we reached the top, Angelo pushed open the door to my bedroom, and I gasped at the cold breeze that came from the window which was left open.

He laid me down on the bed, as he stood before me, his eyes burning with desire as he took off his clothes with his gaze fixed on me, I couldn't help but notice the evidence of his arousal.

His groin was erect, and his nakedness only added to the raw intensity of the moment. I laid on the bed, my heart racing with anticipation, and beckoned him to come closer.

I had already taken off my dress leaving only my underwear, Angelo's eyes roamed over me, his gaze lingering on my skin, his expression a mix of longing and adoration. He took a step closer, his movements slow and deliberate, his eyes never leaving mine.

As he climbed the bed I could feel the tension between us building, the air thick with anticipation.

Suddenly he shifted my undies to get space to slide in his cock into my virg**na, I couldn't help but moan, as soon as he was in me already he didn't seem to care how I was feeling anymore he kept on the process thrusting in and out, Angelo was rough tonight.

I kept on enduring every bit of the process, tears streamed down my eyes as I begged him to slow down but he didn't hear me, he was fast to even listen to me.

I couldn't stop him, all I did was to lay there and receive it all telling myself it was for his pleasure.

Suddenly he let out a loud moan as he fell on the bed out of exhaustion, I could feel the wet cum on me, fear left my heart. I only relished the sweetness of the moment.

After a hot moment of sex I laid on the bed like a dead fish, I couldn't move an inch covered in the blanket filled with the scent of hot sex sprinkled with pleasure on it.

Angelo was still trying to catch his breath when he asked “How was it?”

Confused at first I couldn't place my head on what he really meant, when he added “Today is our last night of intimate intercourses together” he got up and started to put on his clothes as he continued, “I want to end this marriage.”

  • COMEBACK OF THE REJECTED WIFE.    CHAPTER 102: SEEING MY FATHER.

~ ANGELO ~ I had a nurse keep watch over Annika before I left to visit my father. My mum had been calling non-stop for the past two hours, and I knew I couldn't delay it any longer. My eyes were bloodshot as I drove towards our family hospital. I hadn't had a good night's sleep for days, and it was already telling on me. Rubbing my eyes to have it focused on the road, I tried to keep my thoughts far from Annika. I just wanted nothing to make me turn the car around so I could return to her side like I wanted."God," I groaned, blinking to keep my eyes open as I reached for the coffee cup I got at the drive-in.Lissa, like my mum had been calling, and I had ignored it like I did to my mum. I just didn't have the strength to deal with her telling me how scared she was, not when I had more than enough on my plate already. It wasn't like I wouldn't visit her, I would. The problem was: that I had to sort other things out. Like getting to know how well my dad was feeling and all that

~ ANGELO ~ I had Annika transferred to another hospital after that episode, knowing she wasn't safe. Whoever that man who attacked her was, I knew they would return. I had to keep my wife safe and away from them.I sat beside my wife's hospital bed, watching her chest rise and fall with each gentle breath. She was finally sleeping, thank goodness. The past few hours had been a blur of police reports and hospital tests, but at least she was safe now. Safe from all the stress and finally at peace. As I watched her sleep, I reached out to remove the stray strands of hair from my face. My heart ached to think that I would have lost her had I been a minute late. That man would have killed her."I'm sorry." I leaned over and placed a kiss on her forehead before I sat back in the chair, taking her hand in mine. Deep down, I felt I was the reason for everything that had happened to her. Even though we didn't know who the attackers were or why they wanted her, I had this hunch that it

~ ANGELO ~Pinching the bridge of my nose, I glared at my phone, wondering why I didn't ask her to take care of herself. Well, I know. It wasn't like Lissa to sound so scared, and I perceived the thoughts of someone stalking her, reminded her of her foster brother, the one her family adopted before things went awry, and he tried to rape her."Fuck!" I gritted out, torn on what to do. I knew I should have rejected her and focused on Annika, but I couldn't do that. Even though we had broken up, I promised her I would always be there for her whenever she needed me, and the time was now. She needed me so much she had to call, to let me know she was in danger. The least I could do for her right now was to seek her out and comfort her.I plopped down on the couch and covered my face with my palms, wondering why everything was happening at the same time. A new business partner terminated the deal I was supposed to sign with their company in Morocco after I left my signing ceremony un

~ LISSA ~I stormed into the dimly lit room, my eyes blazing with fury. The two men I hired to eliminate Annika cowered before me. They knew I was pissed at them."You failed me," I spat, my voice venomous. "Twice." Jake, a blonde burly man with an ugly scar across his face, shifted uncomfortably. "We did what you ordered, ma'am. We tampered with her car.""But she survived," I snarled, my fingers drumming against the table. "How can you claim to do what I asked when you left a piece of evidence to make her suspect?! You were careless!"Max, the second man, spoke up. "And the second time, we tried to run her off the road."I glared at them. "But she's still alive!" I repeated. "You are just a failure! Investing in you is nothing, but a damned mistake! Why did I even listen to Andrea when she suggested hiring you?" I paced around the room, my heels clicking on the floor. I'd waited extremely long for him. Too long. And she'd been in the way for far too long. I needed to get A

~ ANNIKA ~"Good afternoon, Annika," he greeted in a husky voice, approaching me. The nearer he got, the more I felt like I had met him somewhere, but I couldn't, for the life of me, recall where that was. His eyes and face were oddly familiar, even though he had a mask on half of his face.Forcing a smile as I tried not to think of the strange thoughts going through my head at the moment, I sat up on the bed. "I'm good. Just feeling a little dizzy," I responded truthfully, even though my mind asked me to run, to get as far away from him as I could. I frowned, wondering why I felt that way with a man who was obviously a doctor. Otherwise, he wouldn't be dressed as one, carrying a tab."That's good to hear." He ran his hand through his unusually long blonde hair. "We will have to take care of the dizzy aspect, though. As you are about to be discharged, we can't have any complications." He dropped the tab on my cupboard and turned to look at me. "Where did your husband go? Why isn't he

  • COMEBACK OF THE REJECTED WIFE.    CHAPTER 97: THE FAMILY HEIRLOOM.

~ ANNIKA ~ For the first time, I didn't answer it as fast as I would have. I actually thought about the question and mulled over it before letting out a sigh. "I know you don't support my plans, and you assume I'm wasting my time by doing this, but I hope you will understand me someday," I said, going around his question because I couldn't think of what to give in response. It was a hard question. Before I got to know aside of him he kept hidden while we weremarried, I would have easily said I hated him,but I don't feel that way anymore. I don't likehim, mind you, but I don't hate him. All Iwanted at the moment was to make him feelmy pain, whatever feeling you would call this.Revenge? This came close. It just wasn't hatred."Annika, I don't-""Call me when the kids return from school." I disconnected immediately and switched my phone off, placing it on the cupboard next tomy bed. Sighing, I covered my face with my palms, trying not to grit hard on my teeth as I did so.
