VISITING DAY

Since it was a Friday, Alfred and Sarah got to their destination on time. Fridays were not counted as working days in California and the USA at large. So many people stayed at home. The main users of the road on Fridays and weekends were pedestrians. There were also cab drivers who conveyed students to school.

Alfred sighed before he alighted from the vehicle. Sarah, on the other hand, had alighted from the vehicle about two minutes ago. She was dazzled by the beautiful and the serene environment of the school.

“What are you thinking, Sarah?” Alfred tapped her on the back.

“I was only carried away by the beauty of this place.”

“But you’ve come here several times. You’ve come here more than three times if I am not mistaking.”

“That’s true.” “Look at those women.” Sarah gestured.

“It’s visiting day, so I don’t hope to see less than a thousand parents in this place. It’s not easy to keep one’
