Her weird cravings

How can this woman be so nonchalant to forget that she was tormenting me with these attitude of hers? 

The odour coming from her side was the plate of noddles from with heavy steam was ozing from. 

Instinctively, I gulped. 

"You... Why are you awake at this time of the night? What are you eating?" I asked even though I already know. 

She smile, "Oh you're back? You walk so silently are you planning to be a ghost?" Her response was funny but I cleared my throat.

"Why are you eating in the middle of the night?" I wasn't expecting this clumsy attitude from her to be honest. Coupled with how she sat down on the single stool and her back...

Damn, what was I thinking about?

"I was dreaming of slurping down some instant noddles, infact I always dream of instant noddles, since I was younger" she took another long drag, "Micheal doesn't like the scent, so I decide to make my dreams come true here"

I chuckled. Hearing this from her sounds like an achievement from own side. I'd successfully made another dream of hers come true. 

Even if she dies at five months time, I promise I won't have much regret like the past ones, because I made her happy before leaving.

I composed myself again, "So you can actually cook something?"

"I … I'm pretty good at boiling water. It's never burned, and noddles too, I think I deserve the best chef award" She giggled turning the noddles with the chopsticks to keep it from going soggy. 

I doubt if she'd ever know how to cook. Looking at her delicate fingers, I guess the only privileged Micheal gave her was; not cooking in the kitchen. 

She gestured at me,  "Did you want to try some? It's a taste of heaven"

She pushed the bowl of noodles forward, directly facing me. J looked at the long curly food, on a normal day, I don't like noddles, it makes me want to throw up with  how curly it was. 

But seeing it right now, cooked by my mate, 

Laced with vegetables, meat, eggs, and soup, I really want to try. 

I don't know what to say, I can't let her see through my excitement so I quickly retort, "How can a king est these things when I'm not a kid? What wo my elder or pack members say if they hear of it?"

Ruby laughed, "A king? But I'm the Luna? If a Luna can eat noddles at night, a King should try too" 

"Eating in the middle of fhe night causes constipation" I bargain back. How can she quickly jump into conclusion because she could eat it? 

"Then let me have the constipation alone" She didn't mind me, and she resumed slurping it down lavishly. Looking at her tender movements, sexy pink lips, sweet smelling noddles, my inner worms growl, therefore giving me away.

Ruby looked at me with laughter, "A king can't eat noddles but a king can have worms?" She pushed the plate before me again, "With me, you're just Pyrrhus Oberoi, the man who made my dreams come true and my mate. No one is here now so eat this and you'll love it"

The noodles that she had picked up were already in front of me, the words set my heart ablaze with emotions and I wish to kiss her, but no! I can't step on the boundaries. The plan is to make her happy for five months and nothing else is attached.

How can Micheal cheat on this kind of woman because of some shitty mate bond? She had a highly recommending expression on her face, and she smiled expectantly as she stuffed the chopsticks in front of me. 

The taste stimulated my taste buds, and his stomach began to churn again. I can't ignore it this time, I can't put on act anymore, I have to take a bite. Helplessly, I surrendered, "I'll est because you offered it with love, don't have other ideas"

She chuckled and shoved the chopsticks to me. I mean the same chopsticks she used!!

I slurped a bite from the bowl and damn!! So delicious and savory. Without minding the woman looking at me, I rushed the remaining noddles even though slowly, but enjoying the taste.

"So can the king tell me what he think of the noddles?" She ask when I'm halfway through.

I cleared my throat, "It's too salty" I can't let her make mockery of me anymore.

She looked at me,  "Why are you eating it as if you're eating in a royal dinner? It's just instant noddles, why making a big deal out of it?"

I looked at her indifferently. "I don't think of noddles everyday Madam"

She smiled, "So you're saying, you haven't 

 eaten instant noodles before?*"

"Yes." I looked at her and asked doubtfully, "So what?"

Ruby raised her chin like a proud mum, "I deserve an award for making this egoistic Lycan King taste one of the most important meals in this lifetime" 

 

I raised my eyebrows, is she making a joke out of me right now? She continued "Instant noodles are one of life's greatest delicacies. You almost missed it. Luckily you have me. Otherwise, you would definitely regret it to death"

I don't know when I laughed hysterically. So this is the conclusion she was driving at and she was proud of it as if it was an award winning event speech. "This is junk food is having so much praise?"

"Delicious junk food!" She corrected.

Just like that, all the anger and tirednesyinwas feeling disappeared into the thin air with an ordinary bowl of noddles. 

 "Looks like you're in a good mood?" 

She giggled again, "I thought I sent you a message that I got a role?  How can I not be in a good mood?"

She happily placed a hand on my shoulder, "I was able to pull it though because you volunteerd to bring me into limelight again"

I cant help but feel high and mighty with this complement she continued her story regardless, "It's a pity that Ella made it to the second female lead role and we'll be meeting each other constantly, I just hope I don't have to problems because of her"

Then my mind flashed to what Selena said about her, "So did you want me to go with Selena or you'll hoe on to me like you promised her?"

She gasped with horror. "So she's already told you everything? I can't believe you're acquainted with that big mouth lady"

"Answer my question"

She raised her jaws again, "If you want to go back to her, I'll gladly let you go. I'll just regret it because I didn't fulfill my promise to Selena. 

I really feel for her. She was trying her best not to tell me 'Don't go'  what a shrewd woman. 

"I won't move out and they're will never be any Selena between us" I say finally so she could put her mind to rest and not huge herself hypertension.

She was like "....?"

 "So you don't have to bother to drive me away. You're my mate, the woman I'm fated to protect, Selena is just my friend and no love between us.  Don't let your imagination run wild with other nonsense!"

After talking, I loosen the tie and made towards upstairs, either he likes it nor not, I'm taking the bed tonight!!

"I'm doing it for your own good. I don't want to see a lover being separated, right? I-I" she stopped when I'd disappeared upstairs but I heard her. 

I can't help but stop and sneered.

"You're really considerate!"
