Part 3

"But, Mom, I don't need a new employee yet, and my house isn't so dirty that I bother asking for help with cleaning."

I politely declined the request of my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Not without reason, just want to see how far their efforts. From the way Tuti greeted me and freely wanted to come to my kitchen, this already indicated that she wanted something from this house.

And they facilitated Tuti's business. "Sarah, you don't have to pay Tuti, she just takes shelter until her husband comes to pick me up," said my mother firmly so that I accepted Tuti. Which husband? My husband too? You fuck! "Yes, Sar, after all, the cost of eating Tuti is not so much, I don't think it's a burden."

Imar also tried to convince me. "Um, but why don't you just stay at Mom's house, anyways, I'm rarely home because I'm busy next door, it's not good when you're alone with Feri at home, if Naswa, mom knows, she's busy in her room."

"You know that there are only two rooms in my mother's house, anyways. That's easy, Sar, on Sundays, Mother will be here to take care of it, anyways, don't think about things before there is evidence," defended Mother smoothly.

His play was great, he lied without hesitation and even others would not believe he was lying. "Yes, Sar, after all this time do you have any evidence of Feri?" "Not yet, Ma'am, but if it's proven ." My words were deliberately hung while staring at them. "I-if proven, what do you mean, Sar?" Mother-in-law stuttered.

"I-if proven, what do you mean, Sar?" Mother-in-law stammered. Even his eyes turned away for a moment. "If proven, yes .." I was silent again did not continue the speech.

"Don't think about it, Sar, now can Tuti stay in this house for a while?" Imar tried to divert the conversation. Mother and child are the same. If Haris had another wife, would he still be able to say 'it's not a burden'.

"How about that, Ma'am, Ma'am, I'd better ask Feri first." I lured them again by bringing the name of Mas Feri. "Feri must have agreed, it was Mother who asked, Sar," answered Ms. Imar as if she already knew my husband's decision.

Of course asked to stay was his sister's new wife. I know because "This is hot tea for Mother and iced tea for Mbak Imar." Tuti put the two glasses of tea. "And this is for Ms. Sarah."

Tuti also put a glass of iced tea on the table in front of me. He was still holding the tray. "Sorry, Tut, I don't like iced tea, let's just drink it," I refused. "Oh, sorry, Ma'am, I don't know," replied Tuti. "But since it's yours, I'm still drinking." "Ah Ma'am, it just doesn't make me feel good, what do you like to drink anyways? Let me make it."

"Hot coffee a little sugar, but don't worry, I've had coffee earlier too." Look at Naswa. He sat next to his grandmother watching Tuti. His eyes seemed to hate everything that came. And I feel that too. "Ma'am, do you want to eat chicken opor? I can make the best one.

Mother said, Ma'am, you like chicken opor, right?" Tuti is very familiar. It was as if he had known me for a long time. I thought I didn't know who he really was. But this actually makes me even more excited to reply to them.

"Yes, I like chicken opor, apparently Mother also pays attention to my favorite food," I answered while looking at my mother. "Whatever you like, I already know it, Sar, Feri also often tells stories, that's why I brought Tuti here, she can also iron your clothes, because I know you must be busy taking care of the mini market."

Wow, so mother-in-law tells a lot about me to her new daughter-in-law. Does he want to replace my position with Tuti in this house? Do not hope! Precisely you and the man who is my husband, I will get rid of after my pain is avenged.

"I'm very considerate, thank you, ma'am." "You are my mother's favorite daughter-in-law, Sar," said Ms. Imar, praising her. "That's because I'm the only daughter-in-law, isn't it, Mom?" Look at the mother-in-law.

"Oh, y-yes, Sar, of course," replied the mother stammering, glancing at Tuti. Tuti looked down with a silent expression on her face, maybe she also felt bad hearing that.

Or maybe he's just jealous. "Naswa, prepare a room for Grandma, Aunt Imar and Aunt Tuti," I ordered Naswa. "Yes, Mom, but how many rooms?" Naswa rose from his seat. "Two, Nas, one room, Grandma and Aunt Imar, while Tuti sleeps in a separate room," answered my mother before I answered.

"Tuti sleeps with Naswa alone, Mom, after all Naswa sleeps alone," I objected. "I should sleep alone, Mbak Sarah, my habit is to wake up at night and I'm afraid to disturb Naswa," said Tuti. I know he would want to take Feri to his room.

Those newlyweds must be looking forward to their first night. But, I wonder what they're doing tonight. "Okay Tuti, I'll give you what you want,' I thought. "Two rooms, son, just like your grandmother said."

Finally I agreed to what my mother-in-law and Tuti wanted. Tuti immediately smiled in response. lives alone. Without prompting, he sweeps and mops the floor. Doesn't matter if it's late at night.

"Why, you wash my dirty clothes, Tut?" I asked seeing him standing next to the washing machine. The dirty clothes basket, which I usually put in the sitting room, looks empty. I plan to wash the clothes tomorrow morning.

"Yes, Ma'am, Mother said, Ma'am is busy during the day, you must be tired, so if I wash it now, it's okay to dry it in the sun." "But, in that basket there are a lot of my husband's underwear," I said to lure Tuti.

"No problem, Ma'am, oh yeah, Ma'am, do you want me to do something?" Wow, smart Tuti also took my heart. If I had not seen him married to Feri, I might have considered him like my sister. "You are diligent and kind," I complimented while touching his arm.

"Okay Tuti, continue your ambition, I thought. I put on a sweet smile in response. "It's okay, Ma'am, I used to do this at my employer's house first." "Oh yes? So you used to work?" "Yes, Ma'am, economic demands." Maid? No wonder Tuti wants to be ordered like a maid to do all the housework. But why does mother-in-law accept her as a daughter-in-law, if the reason for money is definitely impossible because she has no money. -Men? That's just an excuse that I'm not grateful for, I think.

I let him do that. Then I went to the living room, sat in front of the television, alone waiting for Feri to come home. Meanwhile, the mother-in-law, Mbak Imar and Naswa were already sleeping.

"How come Feri hasn't come home yet?" I muttered, looking at the clock on the wall, it was twenty-five minutes past eleven. Can't wait to see the reaction of this lovebird pretending in front of me.

Knock knock! Knock knock knock!

"Definitely Mas Feri," I said, wanting to walk to the door. However, Tuti had already run to the door, saying, "Let me open it, Ma'am, just rest." He ran without caring what I was about to say. Like in a hurry to wait for something, that's how he behaved.

"You think you can make out at my house! I thought. I kept walking towards the door. "Would you like some coffee?" Tuti's voice asked. Her voice was low but I could hear it because I wasn't far from behind her.

"Where's Sarah?" asked Mas Feri while took off his shoes. His eyes were fixed on his feet until he didn't notice my presence. "It's there." Tuti turned her head back while pointing, instantly she was silent when she saw me walking towards her.

"There are guests, Ma'am," said Tuti, pointing at Feri. I kept silent. The faces of this newlywed couple look tense to see my presence. "Sarah, um, who is this?" Feri pointed at Tuti as if he was surprised and did not know her.

Tuti immediately walked away from him like she was afraid of being caught. "What is wrong?" I asked casually. "Husband just came home, why ask that, Sar, usually kiss my hand first." "Is it important?" "Oh sorry, Ma'am, I thought it was a guest," said Tuti, of course pretending to be surprised. If there's an audition for the cast of the flying fish soap opera, I'm sure they will pass.

The acting is amazing. I ignored the apology. "Sorry, Mas, you're from outside, you should wash your hands first, there are lots of viruses out there, I'm afraid of infection," I answered, refusing to kiss his hand. "Are you like this?" Feri approached, then embraced my shoulder affectionately. Tuti saw this scene. He was stunned for a moment then walked backwards. Maybe he's jealous. Mas Feri is more affectionate than usual. " you are friendly in front of people, Mas?"

"Let the others see how lucky I am to have a wife like you, Sar." Is this a sign if the husband has another woman? Attitude turned friendly as if to cover up his actions.

"Why come home so late, sir?" "There was a lot of work, Sar, anyway next week we will go for a walk as you and Naswa want." "Okay." "Oh yeah, who was that?" "Don't pretend you don't know, Mas, you just married her this morning,' I thought. "Hey! Why are you quiet? Who was that earlier?" Feri asked again because I didn't answer.

"How can you not know, Mas?" I looked at Feri. "Wh-what do you mean?" He stuttered and turned his eyes away. "Could you not know Tuti?" I haven't turned away from him. I enjoy every corner of his facial expression. "Oh, Tuti's name is?" "Really, you don't know?" "Yes, I know, Sar, I'll just see you this time," said Feri, this time his speech was smooth.

"Let me introduce you," I pulled Feri's hand. We headed to the living room. And on the table is a cup of hot coffee. I know it's a drink that Tuti made for Feri. "Tuti! Tuti!" I called while sitting beside Mas Feri.

"Yes, Ma'am," said Tuti, hastily approaching us. Now he is standing in front of us. "You know Mas Feri, don't you?" I'll show you Feri. "W-what, Ma'am?" Tuti stammered, her eyes rounded. "Don't worry, Tut, how come your face is so tense, please introduce this to my husband."

"Oh yes, Tuti, Mas." Tuti reached out to Mas Feri. "Feri," said Feri, welcoming Tuti's hand. Doesn't look suspicious. They act like they just met. "Who is this Tuti, Sar?" asked Mas Feri while taking a cup of coffee that was already available. "Don't pretend you don't know, Mas," I replied, smiling sarcastically. "Ow!" The cup immediately slipped from Feri's hand, until hot coffee spilled on his pants.
