Sixteen

Seeing his wife sleeping beside him feels his heart overflow with happiness. This is the very day he'd been dreaming of for so many years now, since their relationship ended. He's happy and contented seeing her soundly asleep in his arms.

" I love you, babe. " He whispered to her ear. His hand lowered down and find her still flat tummy, feeling the little angel in her womb. " And you baby, daddy loves you very much. " Then, he softly carress her tummy. Until he fall asleep.

The following morning, he woke up hearing the agonizing sound of her wife in the bathroom. He immediately got up and went to her. He saw her squat on the tiled floor of the bathroom. And attended to her quickly.

" Are you okay, babe? " She shakes her head. She is sweating bullets. He got worried of her.

" I'm not, it hurts! My tummy hurts! " She replied crying. Seeing her suffered because of morning sickness made his heart bleed for her.

" Okay babe, I will carry you and bring you to the hospital now. " Brando
