Emily’s POV:
I was looking at him startled while he gazed at me and stood there waiting for me to stand up and move back.
“Emily…” Someone called out but I was so lost in Aiden’s eyes that I didn’t bother to respond to that voice coming at the back.
“Emily Parker” Someone said out loud and I travelled back to Earth and realized that it was Mr. Martin’s voice.
“Um… Y – Yes, Mr. Martin?” I asked in nervousness.
“You should move back and give your seat to the new student. You must make them feel welcomed, you know” Mr. Martin said. I didn’t like that but out of respect, reluctantly stood up and picked up my bag while staring at Aiden.
“Move faster” He said arrogantly. I looked at him and wondered how arrogant he was. I kept looking at him and walked to the back of the room to find a chair for myself.
“Okay… Good” Mr. Martin said while Aiden sat down on my chair making my blood boil. He’s so arrogant. Why is he like that? I thought in frustration as I opened my book angrily and our class started.
As we had our first class of senior year, we all moved out of the classroom and I started walking towards the cafeteria with Melissa following me behind, calling out my name.
“Em… Wait” She said out loud making me stop and turn around.
“Let’s go to the cafeteria and talk” Melissa said.
“I don’t want to talk, Mel. I just want to eat something” I said distressfully and started walking.
“Hey… Don’t be so sad…” Melissa said as we walked towards the cafeteria.
“Guys… Em… Melissa…” Oliver’s voice came behind us and we stopped there.
“Wait for me” He said raising his hands up in the air while he moved his way through the crowd and to us.
“God… How many students have got admission this year?” Oliver said in frustration as he looked at all those students.
“Let it go… Come on” Melissa said to him and we continued making our way to the cafeteria.
As we took our lunch from the counter and turned around, we started looking for a table to sit and have our lunch peacefully.
“Hey… There’s a table” Melissa said and pointed towards the table in the right corner. Melissa and Oliver made their way towards that table while I followed them behind at a slow pace as I was not feeling the energy in myself mentally as well as physically. As I reached the table and placed down my tray there, I placed my hand on the chair to drag it back but suddenly a hand came and held the chair. I looked at the hand and then at the person whose hand was on my chair. My eyes got wide open when I saw the billionaire’s son, Aiden, in front of me holding my chair.
“Excuse me…?” I said.
“I am sitting here” He said in arrogance.
“But I – I got here first” I argued.
“So… I saw this chair when I entered the cafeteria” He said. Melissa and Oliver got restless and were about to stand up.
“But…” I started.
“Shut up and move away” He said rudely and I looked at him startled.
“Em… Come on we can sit somewhere else” Melissa said and stood up, picking up her tray.
“Yes… You guys can sit here. We can sit somewhere else” Oliver said and smiled at those four guys and left the table for them. Melissa came towards me and hit me with her elbow.
“Come on…” She whispered to me. I looked at Aiden and gulped but reluctantly moved away once again.
“This is ridiculous” I said in frustration as we moved on to another table.
“It’s okay, Em…” Melissa said as we settle ourselves down on another table.
“Melissa… He’s doing this on purpose” I argued.
“Yeah Em… I understand that. And he has a reason for that” Melissa said.
“What is the reason? I mistakenly took him as a fresher. Is this a reason?” I asked her.
“Of course, Em… Anyone could get offended by that. Once you will apologize to him, he will get okay with you” Oliver said.
“Yes… You must apologize to him, Em and then you’ll see how good he is with you” Melissa said with a hope in her eyes.
I thought about it for a while and added, “Are you guys sure that I should apologize to him?” I asked in confusion.
“Of course, Em… You did a small mistake. I know it’s tiny but you should clear yourself out from your end at least” Melissa said and I thought about it as she was right.
I took a deep breath and added, “Okay… I think you are right…” I said and began eating.
“So… When are you going to him?” Oliver asked me while filling his whole mouth with the sandwich.
“I don’t know. Let me eat first. I can’t get my mind straight when my stomach is empty” I said and started eating in haste. They both nodded and we continued to eat.
After a while, Melissa jumped up and pointed towards those four boys.
“Hey, they are going” She said. I looked at them and gulped the sandwich hard.
“Come on…” Melissa said to me.
“Okay…” I said lazily and stood up. We hastily moved out of the cafeteria, following those four boys behind.
“Okay now go and say something” Melissa whispered to me while she hit me with her elbow.
“Wait a minute. Not here” I whispered back and we continued to walk behind them until we entered the hall where there was no one. I took the opportunity and moved quickly towards them while I noticed Melissa and Oliver walking away.
“Um listen…” I said as I ran a little towards them and they stopped and turned around. “Aiden…” I added and looked at him as he locked his gaze at me and crossed his hands against his chest waiting for me to speak up…

Emily’s POV: “What?” He asked me with an attitude. “I ah…” I cleared my throat and continued, “I wanted to um…” I couldn’t complete due to the nervousness. “I don’t have any useless time to waste on you” He said arrogantly and turned back around to walk away. “Um listen to me… Please” I said and ran towards him. “Please wait” I added and he stopped. I ran forward and stood in front of him. “I wanted to um…” I said and paused there. “I wanted to apologize to you” I added and took a deep breath. He deepened his eyes at me while tilting his face to a side. He kept looking at me with his eye brows raised up. “Okay” He said and rolled his eyes after which he moved forward to walk. “For, for…” I said and raised my hand up in the air to stop them. “For um… the thing I did before. I made a mistake and took you as a fresher. I didn’t know you were a senior, too. So I just started to… you know…” I said while moving my hands in the air and continued, “I just started to overpower you befor
Emily's POV: "Em... Don't worry. He won't do anything. Let's go home" Melissa said. I took a deep breath and nodded. "Yes. She is right, he won't do anything" Oliver said and shook his head. I looked at him and widened my eyes. "You are such a..." I said but didn't complete and instead hit him on his arm. "Ouch. What is wrong?" Oliver asked me while rubbing his arm vigorously. "You yourself told me that you are wondering what he might do now and you scared me like shit and suddenly you are agreeing with Melissa that he won't do anything" I complained. Melissa started laughing. "Well, I didn't want to scare you, but I was just informing you that he might do something but I think he won't do anything" Oliver said in confusion which I didn't understand. I sighed and rolled my eyes. I took a deep breath and started, "Anyway, I can't think about this anymore. I need to go home, now" "Yes. You don't need to think about this. Let's go home" Melissa said and I nodded. "Bye then, see
Emily’s POV: “Y – You?” I said in my broken voice, looking at him with my fearful eyes. “Didn’t you expect me here after what you did today?” He asked. I was frightened to see Aiden Bryce standing in front of me with his intimidating personality and scary icy eyes. I wasn’t expecting him there in my house. “N – No. How…?” I couldn’t complete my sentence as I was shocked to see him there. He crossed his arms against his chest and waited for me to complete. I took a deep breath and added, “How – How did you get in?” “Does that matter?” He asked tilting his face to the left side. “Wh – What?” I asked fearfully. “Does it matter how I got in? Because you won’t be able to take any precautions ahead” He said and slid his hands in his pockets and stood there in style. “What? Why?” I asked in confusion. “Because you won’t get to live to take any precautions” He said. “What – What are you saying?” I asked and I was about to cry. “I am going to kill you tonight, Miss Emily Parker” Aid
Emily’s POV: I screamed and moved my hands in the air after which I realized that Aiden had released my hands. I started breathing heavily and sat up straight on my bed but then wondered how Aiden let go off me so easily. I stopped bawling out for help and opened my left eye to see if he was still there. To my surprise, Aiden was not there and I wasn't on my bed, instead I was on my couch in the living room. I looked around in perplexity and then focused near the kitchen area to see if there was a broken vase or my telephone on the floor. They weren't there too. My mouth was left open when I realized it was just a dream and not the reality. "Oh my god..." I said and slid my fingers through my hair, pushing them back. "What - What..." I huffed and puffed and added, "What was that?" "It was so real. I can't - I can't believe this. Thank god it was just a dream" I said to myself and sighed. "This Aiden guy is entering my dreams and that too in a shit scary way" I said. "God please
Aiden’s POV: “You bloody…” I said to Dylan as he answered the call. “Hello, Mr. Kevin” Dylan said and smiled. What a hanger-on! I thought while looking at him in frustration. “Hello Dylan… Is Aaron there?” Mr. Kevin asked. I gestured him to say no but he had some other evil plans for me. “Of course, Mr. Kevin. He’s sitting right next to me” Dylan said, making my blood boil and handed over the phone to me. I reluctantly took the phone and added, “Hello dad” “Aiden… Where’s your phone?” He asked. “Um…” I started and looked at Dylan who was pointing his fingers to my phone. “Right here” Lucas whispered from the couch opposite to me and they all started chuckling. I looked at them angrily and added, “Um… dad, it’s – it’s in my room. What happened?” “Nothing serious but I was calling you but you didn’t pick up so I called Dylan” Dad said. “Oh… Why were you calling?” I asked. “I wanted to ask you about how your first day was at this new school” Dad said. “I see… Yeah it was good
Emily’s POV: As my eyes swung open, I immediately looked around for Aiden if he was there. As I saw no one around me, I took a sigh of relief and closed my eyes back again. As I took three deep breaths and meditated on my bed for about ten minutes, my phone rang, breaking in my peace. It was Melissa on the phone. “What?” I asked in frustration with my eyes still closed trying to get back to my peace. “What happened to you?” Melissa asked on the phone. “Nothing. I am meditating, Mel” I said lazily. “Oh come on… You can meditate later. Listen to me” Melissa said excitedly. “What?” I opened my eyes and got attentive by her voice filled with excitement. “Do you know what is going to happen today?” Melissa asked in excitement. “What? Aiden going to make my day hell? Yeah, well I know that” I said resentfully. “No… He won’t do anything” Melissa informed like she knew him. “This is about something else” Her excitement grew. “What is it? I don’t know” I said anxiously. “Today we a
Emily’s POV: I gulped and tilted my face up to look at the owner of those shoes. I saw Aiden Bryce standing there in front of me, looking at me intensely with his eyes locked upon me. “Um…” I got nervous and began to put my books back in the bag, hastily while my hands shivered in between. I grabbed and picked up my bag in my hand while looking at Aiden but didn’t realize that I was holding the bag upside down until when all my books slipped down all again making me want to bang my head on the wall. I widened my eyes on the floor and looked at Aiden who looked back at me and rolled his eyes at me. I wanted to give a reaction but decided not to mess with him again and restrained myself from provoking him. I looked down at the books messed up on the floor and then looked back at him to see if he was going to help me this time. To my surprise, his friends stepped forward and bent down a little but were stopped by Aiden as he lifted his hand up in their way. They stopped then and there a
Emily’s POV: I closed my eyes and thought for a while about the mess I had created. I opened my eyes and then looked at everyone in the class. As my eyes moved to Melissa, she looked at me and shook her head as if trying to tell me that I did something wrong. She rested her elbow on the desk and threw her head in her hand. I gulped and then moved my eyes next to Melissa where Aiden was sitting. He slowly turned his face to the right and then to the back to look at me. My eyes got wide open and I skipped a beat. I lost my hold on the pencil in my hand and it dropped down on the floor while I kept looking at Aiden as his fierce eyes were locked on me. “Yes? Emily? Would you like to correct him?” Miss Leah asked politely but instead of correcting him, I kept looking at him. “Emily?” Miss Leah spoke again and I came back there. “Yeah – yeah…” I said while blinking my eyes several times and breathing heavily. “Would you like to correct Aiden?” Miss Leah asked. “Don’t do that” I heard
