I took her by the hands and slowly walked her over to my bed. I could understand her anger completely like it were my own, and that made me smile slightly.

Alexa was one driven by emotions, and I had to be careful with what I told her so she wouldn’t think that I valued her less each day. Her soulful dark eyes looked right at me, waiting for me to explain.
