Chapter 10

5 years later...

It's been five years since I made the biggest decision of my life. Leaving everything behind, forgetting about the forgotten and starting anew. That decision change my whole life big time, 360 degree.

And now, all I can say is that it is worth it. I never regret doing that decision. Kahit pa ang naging kapalit nun ay ang paglayo ko sa mga magulang ko at mga mahal ko sa buhay, kahit pa kapalit nun ay ang talikuran ko ang karangyaan at matutong tumayo sa sarili kong mga paa.

The sacrifices, the sufferings, the downfall are all worth it. Because it taught me all the lessons I need to be the woman I am today, to be the person I am.

Those realizations in life shape me to be the strong independent woman I am now.
