A Truck Full Of Mess

Callan drove back to the pack territory, an eerie silence filling the car. We were both caught off guard with the news of Callan's house being on fire and both of us were worried whether someone got hurt or not.

As we drove up to the house, we could hear the commotion of people, the sounds of the firetrucks.

The entire East wing of his house was destroyed. I stood besides my parents, who rushed towards me and engulfed me in a bear hug as soon as they saw me make my way towards the crowd of pack members.

My mother's eyes were red from all her crying, she thought Callan and I were inside the house. My father looked on the verge of tears as well.

"It's a relief that the Luna came out here to talk to you or else noone would've known the house caught on fire" my mother said. It was true, Callan's house was knewly built and was located in the middle of a dense canopy of trees, away from our pack community.
