"Anaïs" I turned my head to face the door as I watched my mate enter our room. Alpha Kendrick suggested that Callan and I should end the meeting of the leaders and let everybody take today off to deal with everything that we just found out.

"Everybody's back in their rooms?" I asked Callan and he nodded. Alpha Kendrick had asked him to personally escort Alpha Freya and Luna Jeda back to their rooms. They were the only leaders willing to stay away from their packs for so long. The rest had left for their packs right after the meeting.

"You're feeling alright? If you feel sick, I'll take you to the infirmary?" Callan asked as he sat down beside me on our bed.

"Just overwhelmed Callan" I said as I gave him a small smile.

"Well I'll go and get some food for you. You should eat and then sleep...if you want I can give a massage? Maybe that'll make you feel better or we can go for a run? Maybe it's your wolf that's-" I cut him off with a peck.
