Chapter 69: Drunk

She can hear the voice and continuous pat of Grace and Corey on her shoulder trying to wake her up. Her lashes were too heavy to respond. She was too drunk and sleepy she didn't think she could even manage to walk or even stand up. Her body was too heavy and she was so dizzy it made her wanna puke. They can go ahead and leave for all she cares. She can manage herself anyway.

"Come on girl, we're leaving. Wake up..." Grace tried to pull her hand to stand up but she didn't move so Corey helped him out

"hmm...." she groaned irritatingly as jerked her hands away from the two.

She slouched on the couch instead then closed her eyes to continue her sleep. She could hear their voice talking but she was too drunk to understand them until she felt she was slowly engulfed by sleep again.

In her dream, she felt suddenly being lifted and carried by someone. The man has a strong and muscled arms. It feels like he was safe and protected just by being in his arms. His chest was firm and comforting
