Feeling frustrated, she jerked her eyes away from the window glass of the plane and took a deep sigh. Cedric Miguel has a three-day business trip in the South and as his temporary Secretary, she has no choice but to accompany him. They were with the marketing Department Team to perform a project presentation hoping they would win the client's approval of their proposal. It's been days had passed since the incident she caught him making out with a woman in his office. That night, she left the place and ran away regretting she dared to enter his office. If she wasn't stupid enough to feed her curiosity and enter his office, she shouldn't have seen them in an awkward and embarrassing position.
The next days were usual. He was still cold and bossy and gave her a hard time with paperwork most of the time. There were times she will notice him staring at her like he was wondering what she was thinking but most of the time he was a pain in the ass.
She can hear the voice and continuous pat of Grace and Corey on her shoulder trying to wake her up. Her lashes were too heavy to respond. She was too drunk and sleepy she didn't think she could even manage to walk or even stand up. Her body was too heavy and she was so dizzy it made her wanna puke. They can go ahead and leave for all she cares. She can manage herself anyway. "Come on girl, we're leaving. Wake up..." Grace tried to pull her hand to stand up but she didn't move so Corey helped him out "hmm...." she groaned irritatingly as jerked her hands away from the two. She slouched on the couch instead then closed her eyes to continue her sleep. She could hear their voice talking but she was too drunk to understand them until she felt she was slowly engulfed by sleep again. In her dream, she felt suddenly being lifted and carried by someone. The man has a strong and muscled arms. It feels like he was safe and protected just by being in his arms. His chest was firm and comforting
The kiss lasted for like an eternity as if time itself had paused. She felt him cupped her face as he gently rested his forehead against hers. In fear of shattering this dream, she dared not open her eyes, wanting to remain lost in this blissful reverie. "It's you that I love and this feeling I feel for you is more deep and stronger than I had with any other women. If this is not love then tell me what it is? It's you, you understand? Only you..." she heard him utter. Why does it feel so good to hear his words of confession? This is one of her greatest dreams before. Hear him confess passionately and say how much he loves her. If only this is real and not a dream and if only things would be easier for them. Tears started to stream down her face realizing how pathetic she could be desperately dreaming about this happening. "Liar," she whispered in disbelief. She tried to push him away but she won't let her go."Damn it! Why is it so hard for you to believe me? I'm not even sure if
She woke up with a throbbing head and a sore body. A surge of panic and confusion coursed through her when she realized she was naked beneath her blanket as a familiar built of man lay beside her in the bed. She tried blinking her eyes trying to remember what happened last night. "Shit!" she muttered when she finally recognized who the man is. It was no other than Cedric Miguel! Trying so badly to recall everything and how they ended up in her hotel room, her memory couldn't seem to cooperate she couldn't remember anything for a moment. Her head was throbbing because of hangover and was confused, she didn't know what to do. Feeling suspicious and baffled, she gasped when flashes of memories started to joy in her mind. Shit! She couldn't believe herself on how she acted last night. She had assumed it was just a dream, but the sight of Cedric Miguel now lying naked and sleeping before her confirmed its reality. Anger surged in her chest, she wanted to blame and confront him. She
First impressions are often entirely wrong. The thing that sometimes gets lost is the way people look at the harder edge of me and get the wrong impression that I'm a mean, selfish, priggish, unreasonable brat, and a very conceited person. That's really something I don't want people to think about me but that is not usually happening all the time. I don't usually care for what people think of me. The less I care, the less I hurt. I have trusted people but ended up being deceived and betrayed. There are people who are good at disguising and have mastered the art of deceit and yet, still know how to look saint to everyone. I'm not a good judge of character but I'm easily judged. Trust me I get used to it...Cedric Miguel Villacencio, the man who never failed to make some havoc in my system. He was almost perfect in every way and excellent in every aspect. I know I won't stand a chance on him and I know he can never be mine. Probably because ther
"What are you doing here? I believe it was Lyzza I was meeting tonight." She angrily told him."Have to convince Lyzza to do this. If I will invite you to go out with me, you will surely reject me so I have no choice but to do this stunt. This is the only possible way I could have a chance to talk with you, Gav.""I can't believe you, Cedrick Miguel," she stated frustratedly while shaking her head in disbelief and feeling so upset for what he did.She immediately walkout and left the place but he ran over and followed her. She might succeed in leaving the establishment but unfortunately failed to get away from him because he blocked her way as soon as she reached the exit. He pulled her outside the bar until they reach the beachside darker area."Get off me! What is it that you want?" She hissed irritably."I'm sorry..." Shocked by her disgust, his face stoop down as his eyes went gloomy.
The wind blew so softly and the peacefulness of the surroundings just added a gloomy and emotional sentiment in her feelings. Sitting in the same hammock in between the two coconut trees where she and her Mom used to lie down in the same spot always brings her to tears. It has been 2 months since she passed but the pain is still in her heart. The house has never been the same after she was gone. She could still remember the last words she told her before she left."I want you to be happy and always stay strong. I want you to grow to be a beautiful, smart, kind, and brave woman in the future. Reach your dreams and be who you are. Always remember that you are the best thing that happens to me. I wished to see you grow and see you finish college but I guess my time is about to come. I may leave this world but I'll guide and will always stay by your side. Do not forget that sweetheart..."She couldn't help to cry every time she though
Days passed and Chelsea had been trying to reach for her. She was generous and usually hang around with her. She finds her fun to be with and she thinks she was a cool stepmom to get along with. She always smiles a lot and she was so sweet to her father. Chelsea brings too much happiness to her Dad and she was well aware of that. She has never seen her father treat her Mom endearingly and the way he looked at her, his face lightened up in merriment which she has never seen him look that way to herMom. Sometimes she wanted to ask her father if he ever did love her mother but she has no guts to do that, of course. As days go by she was starting to like and get used to Chelsea's presence and intervention in the house. She usually helps her do her hair and chooses the right dress and shoes to wear. She teaches her a lot of things like how a girl should properly act and speak and how to treat others with finesse and class. They also shop together in the m
"Hey, Gav come on let's swim at the pool. I asked a maid to make us some snacks there." She was watching the most awaited volleyball match that was being aired live when Leanna found her in her room. She was wearing a bathrobe and inside it was a floral one-piece bathing suit."I'm watching my favorite volleyball match, Leanna. " She stated then switched her eyes again in the TV. She just can't miss every detail of the game. She was so agitated for her favorite team to win."Stop watching that boring volleyball match. Come on, let's just swim." Leanna then pulled her hand that made her laugh."I can't miss this. I've been waiting for this to be aired you know. Can't you see it was live via satellite?" She explained in between laughs."But I want you to accompany me swimming. It's boring swimming alone.""Okay, I'll accompany you after this.""No! I want it now Gav!"
