Chapter 30: Aftermath

Days had passed by since the battle between Odagaia and Fenrir. The forest was left in a devastating state, trees were broken to pieces, a huge portion of the forest was burned to almost a crisp. Despite Gluttire being a large forest the damage done by Fenrir could not be hidden.

The area where most people lived were luckily unaffected due to Odagaia pulling the battle away from all of them. But what stood in the middle of the forest baffled everyone the most. Sarracenia Purpurea, the world's second strongest plant magic a human is capable of using.

It is a pot plant that would devour everything that falls inside its mouth, usually this magic was meant to be placed as a trap. It should simply be sitting quietly on the ground awaiting the enemy to walk past it. But due to the massive power and mana Fenrir had, Odagaia pulled it from the ground and raised it so that Fenrir's attack could not reach anyone.
