Braun’s POV

I was looking deeply into reviewing the new contracts when my assistant entered my office.
“Mr. President, Madam Briella’s press conference has started,” he informed me.
I looked up from the documents, my mind shifting immediately.
“Turn on the TV,” I said without hesitation. I needed to see how my wife would handle the press and face the vultures disguised as reporters.
We both knew how brutal the media could be in this industry. One wrong word, one misstep, and they’d tear you apart. If you couldn’t stand your ground, you wouldn’t survive.
“Did you send a lawyer to X-Trends?” I asked Luigi, my tone serious, my eyes glued to the screen.

Mr. Puerto and Cecile followed, sitting across from us, facing him directly.“Perhaps now,” he added, voice already edged with impatience, “you can tell us your real intention?”I stayed quiet, watching everything unfold. Chapter 13: Those Times Are OverBriella’s POV--“Stop this nonsense at once, Briella! What you’re doing isn’t right anymore!” Xander shouted at me, his voice sharp with anger.I stood up and faced him proudly. “You’re right. I do need to stop this nonsense and make the right decision for once. I’ve got to go. The reporters are waiting for me outside.”I glanced at Mr. Cayab, who was still reeling from everything I had just revealed.“If you think you can defeat me, Briella, you’re mistaken! I won’t lose to a loser like you!” Matilda spat, her voice dripping with fury.I stared at her without flinching, locking eyes with the woman who once thought she could break me.I’m not backing down. Chapter 12: I’ll Wipe That Ugly Smile Off Your FaceBriella’s POV--The next morning, I prepared myself for what was supposed to be the biggest farce of the week, the public apology. Xander had sent me a full email script outlining every word I was expected to say in front of the press. Of course, I didn’t even bother opening it. I had no intention of following his orders. I wasn’t his puppet anymore.Besides, I had already spoken to the stockholders connected to my friend. They promised to back me up. I’ve paid the rent for a full year, and it would be a waste if it just sat empty.”“Where are you staying now?” she asked again, worried.
Chapter 10: I’ll Show Them How to Get My Revenge ProfessionallyBriella’s POV--“Tell me the truth. What kind of mess are you making, Briella?” Xander asked me, his voice sharp and his face stern. “I’m not pleased with your antics.”“What?” I replied, tilting my head, pretending not to understand, even though I knew exactly what he was referring to.“Stop this bullsht at once, Briella. What are you so angry about? Because I didn’t show up at your house?” he snapped, his eyes boring into mine.I smiled sweetly, keeping my tone calm. “Believe me, if I were mad at you, I wouldn’t be sitting here, smiling at you.”“Then why did you cause that scandal?” he pressed, his eyebrows rising as if he already knew the answer.
