Chapter 5: The Billionaire’s Offer

My face crinkled in bewilderment about this man’s words. What is he talking about?

“This luring style is productive, and I was victorious for you to fall into my hands,” he said while taking his steps closer to mine, “Those white hair of yours, I can’t help but confine them on my hands.”

My right eyebrow rose as I stared at the man walking in my direction, “What are you saying? Are you mistaking me for someone?” I confusedly ask.

My question was left unrefuted by the man who suddenly closed the gap between us. I was startled when he reached my jaw, pulling my face closer to him.

“You are under suspicion, but I’m sure barking up the right sunflower.”

“What do you want?”

“You.”

I quickly removed my face from his hands with my gaze open-mouthed. I tied my tongue and promptly turned away from his direction. I was about to walk out when he suddenly grabbed my wrist and quickly pulled me forward.

“You are not going anywhere,” he rigidly said as I felt his mouth between my ears. With all my strength, I pushed him away from me.

I have no idea why this man doing this to me.

“Sir, you don’t have the authority over me. I can go anywhere if I want to. Who are you? Why are you acting like you know the whole of me?” I provoke.

His words were arousing me, building my impatience to become the rage.

He didn’t answer. Instead, he turned his head to the men earlier and nodded, making them leave in an instance.

“We already met at the Hotel last week. Don’t you remember?” his husky voice was going deeper as his monolid brown eyes were staring directly at me, sending me to the unknown abyss.

“Hotel?” I asked, pretending to not getting his words. He suddenly clicks his tongue, flashing a devilish look in his eyes.

“You don’t remember?” he asked while the smirk was fading from his face.

“Would I ask if I know in the first place?” I answered sarcastically. He didn’t say a word, but I was shocked when he took only one step between us, which surprised me.

I stared at his face as his brown eyes were like pulling me down to the bottom of the ocean.

“Zygo Fiernan. Does it ring a bell?”

“No.”

“Seriously?”

“You know what? You’re just wasting my time. I’m not in arrears with you or anyone else; why are you doing this? You are pinning me from moving forward,” I uttered.

“I’m Tranquil’s greatest billionaire,” he drones with an arrogant voice. I raised an eyebrow.

“If you think that I’m like the woman earlier who was so eager for money, no. I don’t give a damn, even if you are a billionaire or the president of Tranquil. All I want is to be out from your sight.”

He suddenly laughed. I don’t know if it’s authentic or fake, but his deep and husky voice gave me chills. His brown eyes twinkle while not taking his gaze away from me.

This man in front of me was satisfied by making me feel this annoyance.

“I can’t help but stare because you become even more beautiful when you get angry.”

I remained silent because I wanted to get rid of this atmosphere, especially this man in front of me. This is the first time in my life, having someone like him pestering the whole of me.

I let out a deep sigh while my body had this desire to leave. I looked around, and there were no other people from where we were. Nor could my eyes find the two men that were here earlier.

I looked back at the man, stared at him while flashing the eagerness on my face to leave at this instance. He grooves his forehead showing that he doesn’t like my current expression.

“I can do anything I want. I can even put you in jail. Aren’t you afraid?”

“You’ll incarcerate me? In what reason?”

“For breaching my eyes and terrorizing my heart.”

I was stiffened because of this man’s last words and his change of expression. His brown eyes were intense, but I did not let him win and stared back at him, fighting.

What the heck is he saying?

“If you have a well-founded reason to put me behind bars, go.”

“Why are you undisturbed?”

“I don’t need a pardon because I’m guiltless.”

This Zygo man laughed softly again as both ends of his lips stretched while his brown eyes staring at me intensely.

He fished something from his pocket without letting off his eyes from me.

“Would you still pretend as a squeaky clean after you see this?” he announced and revealed me something, so I instantly glanced at it. He was clutching a cellphone while a video was playing.

I attended to how the entire video play. It was a copy of CCTV footage when I intended to snatch the ring inside ZF Hotel last week.

I bit my lower lip, suppressing myself; I can feel how my heartbeat furiously. This man, Zygo, was just staring at me with eyes like gaining a victory in a fierce battle.

“I have an offer,” he said, composing his stance while putting back the phone in his pocket without breaking off his eyes.

I stared at him intently. Once again, I confirmed if he was the man I saw at the Hotel even though there is no trace of error in that.  I was like facing a dangerous Lycan because of his anticipation.

I secretly blew and bit my lower lip again. I left the road where many people were to avoid any attention, but I came across this weird one. How did he know I would pass by here, or how did he make sure that I was the person he saw one week ago?

Oh. Maybe it’s because of this white hair of mine!

I don’t hate it, but I dislike the thought of having this snowy hair color because it grabs other people’s attention.

“Offer? If I will accept it, would you stop jerking around?”

“Kind of.”

“What is your proposal?”

After I let those words out of my mouth, his lips suddenly flashed a smirk. He was happy, winning the competition.

“Be my woman,” he abruptly said like he owns the whole world.

“Is the nails on your head was starting to lose? If it is, I can help you sort it out to a better arrangement.”

He suddenly chuckles, flashing a wide smile while showing straight and balanced white teeth. It looks attractive.

“Be mine. Submit yourself to me, and I promise to give you everything you want in this world.”
