Drunk kiss

"Where's Gabe?" Annalise asked when they were in the dining hall to eat. He usually eats with them these past few days, but he's not here tonight.

"He was here earlier," Leo replied while busy serving the food.

"I'll go and call him," Annalise insisted.

David looks fine rather than earlier. Annalise's hug comforted him with the heaviness that he feels—but not for Gabe Clyborne who saw them. He never knew that his world would feel like collapsing in just a hug.

"Gabe?" Annalise began to knock on his door.

Gabe was alarmed inside and even sat on his bed after hearing Annalise calling his name from outside. What is she doing here? His heart was pounding again but the image of Annalis hugging David was throbbing down to his chest.

"Are you there?" She knocked again. But Gabe chose not to respond and waited for her to leave.

"I'll tell the maids to give you food," Annalise said again before Gabe didn't hear any noise outside of his door anymore.
