The officer had been kind enough to take my statement before dropping me off at the hospital.

I had called Giovanni on the way over as well as Talon. I was sure I couldn't trust Talon, but I didn't know who else to call.

I had also left a text for Luca.

Giovanni pulled me into a tight hug as I walked over to him and Talon.

"Is he okay?" Was the only question I could muster. That was all that mattered to me in that moment. I just needed Gianni to be okay.

Talon put a comforting arm over my shoulders, "He was shot four times. They've done a blood transfusion and he isn't awake yet."

"Can I see him?" Please tell me I can see him.

Talon looked over at Giovanni, "Kinley, there's something you need to know."
