Inhaling the cold evening breeze, Beta Rowan crossed his arms over each other as he strode around the Pack. On days like these when Niklaus wasn't around, he had to be at alert to ensure that the Pack and Packhouse were safe.

Although there were soldiers at the border, Rowan still couldn't let their guard down. It was very risky especially since they had a lot of enemies and friends likewise however due to the deep fear the other surrounding Packs had for Niklaus, it was more of respect and fear. No one dared cross his path because they knew the consequences.

"Good even, Beta." Two guards on patrol greeted him.

"Good evening Ethan. Good evening Jeffrey. How are you today?" He offered them a smile.

"We are doing good, thank you." They offered him a smile.

"Were you able to rest during the day in preparation for night patrol?"

"Yes." Jeffrey replied.

"Alright then. Goodnight." He patted them and waved them off.
