Summary Captured by the Demon King

A short summary of book 1 'Captured by the Demon King':

The books are about the seven demon kings of sin who rule the demon realm. Every sin has their own colour. 

Asmodeus / Adrian: Lust - Light blue

Satan / Samael: Wrath - Dark red

Mammon / Micah: Greed - Yellow

Lucifer: Pride - Purple

Belphegor: Sloth - Dark blue

Beelzebub: Gluttony - Orange

Levi, now Dagon: Envy - Green

 

 

 

Gabrielle, a human, was kidnapped by the demon king of Lust, King Asmodeus (Adrian). Taken as a slave, their romantic journey started quick and full of lust. Adrian soon realized he couldn't live without his human and asked her to be his partner (he had four at the time, to fill up his lust to the maximum). He kissed her, creating a deep, life-altering bond between the two. Only when a king kisses another, is a deep bond created. This ties the life forces of the two together, preventing the king and queen from fully dying when the bonded one is still alive.

 

Gabrielle ended up killing the brother of Adrian, Levi. Levi was the king of Envy and wasn't bonded to anyone (none of the Kings are, except for Adrian now). This led to Envy being fully vulnerable. The dark ones (evil demons, more evil then demons I guess lol), took over the entire kingdom. A new king had to be chosen, and for the first time ever, a queen instead of a king was chosen. Dagon, the sisters of all the brothers of sin, won the competition and had gotten close to Gabrielle during the book. Dagon is happily in love with Ren, Adrian's ex-partner.

 

Because the realms were so vulnerable with just a king, the brothers decided it was time for them to get married. A queen would ensure a stable kingdom, even when the king would pass away. A competition between the strongest demon women commenced, and Gabrielle was included at the last moment. Gabrielle ended up winning and married Adrian. She was crowned as queen of the kingdom of lust not long after.

 

Fay met Satan, aka Samael, during a grand ball at the second challenge of the competition. The two instantly hit it off, sometimes in the wrong way. Samael immediately wanted to keep her and already claimed her as 'his', something she completely disagreed with. She had no fear when it came to any demons, and gladly awoke their blood lust by cutting her skin and showing her blood. Satan had a banishment and was forbidden to travel to the human realm, so when Fay went back, he lost her. The last time they saw each other was at Gabrielle and Adrian's wedding.

 

When the brothers are all married, it is time to rage war. That time has almost come. Dagon has called her brothers to help, to kill all the dark ones and establish peace in her kingdom at last. Adrian will also go with his own army, but Gabrielle won't be as she is the queen and has to rule over her kingdom (or will she....). Last detail that came out in the book: Gabrielle is pregnant! Adrian doesn't know this yet, he left for the war before he found out.

 

There are a few more points to be noted:

Each king 'fills up' their own kingdom with their special sin. For Adrian, he has to feel lust in order for the kingdom to thrive. The more lust, the more his kingdom grows.

Every king also has their own special 'powers'. Adrian can snap his fingers and make people fall asleep and feel lust (like at the fight between Sammi and Adrian), he can make clothes disappear (although he preferred taking them off himself) and can change appearances (he travelled to the human realm to get Gabrielle back and changed into Aiden).

Shea, Adrian's ex-partner, tried to kill Gabrielle and was sent back to Wrath where she came from.

Samael, like his brothers, has different powers and has another way to fill up his kingdom.
