Chapter 29: Attacked

I awkwardly sat sipping my drink for a while before I could hardly keep my eyes open. "Luzo. Where is your tent?" I asked her. She pointed at a tent close to us and I nodded. "I'm going to do my business, then I'm going to bed."

"Alright. Want me to come with you?" She asked me. I shook my head. "No, that's alright. I will stay close. Be back in a sec." I responded to her with a smile.

Lazily, I got up and stretched out. I noticed Adrian and Micah weren't sitting at their table and I was glad for it. I scanned the area around and thought it would be best to go behind our tents, as far away from listening ears as I could, but still close enough that I could shout for help if I needed to.

Far away from the camp, in between the bushiest trees I could find, I had a pee and quickly got up again and walked back to Luzo's tent. As I was nearing, a branch snapped behind me. Deciding not to look, I hurried back.

I was almost back at the site when a hand sealed my mouth shut. Shocked to my core
