Chapter 197: Crowning

After calming down for a few minutes, it was finally time to enter the throne room. With Luzo's hand firmly in mine, I smiled at her and felt another few tears behind my eyes. She was so happy. I was so happy for her.

The door opened slightly and complete silence greeted me.

The entire room was dark. There were only two big candles lit, on either side of the two thrones. One was currently occupied. Adrian sat on his throne, his crown atop his head and he was dressed in a fully black suit with light blue details. He looked more serious than ever. His face was set in a stoic expression and he looked straight ahead, not even at me. The throne next to his was empty. There was a small crown in the seat, adorned with light blue diamonds.

The entire crowd had their backs to me. Every single demon was dressed from head to toe, even their necks were covered. Not one skin tone to be seen. It made me feel even more naked. I stepped forward, my bare feet hitting the marb
