Chapter 20 Pier

I had to leave that house; I couldn’t be home on a Saturday night all alone in a haunted mansion. Hannah’s not even with me, she's meeting up with some friends, probably looking for a date anyway.

I started walking around Malibu beach. There’s probably so many celebrities living here. I feel so strange walking around, I try not to walk too far away before I get lost. I’m walking on the pier and then I see a man just kicking the trash can.

I’m just so upset about Jack leaving me to go to the party. I should have said something, but I didn’t want to seem controlling.

I walk up to him and start kicking the trash as well, surprisingly it’s a great way to let out emotions.

“WHY! Why, why, why.” I say.

The guy stops for a second and then looks at me.

“What?” He says

“Why, why, why.” I say, while thinking to myself why is Jack at the party? Why did he leave me?

“Are you mad or something?” The guy says to me.

“What, no, no. I just don’t like this trash bin. That’s all.” I say.
