Chapter 15 Take You Home

Lucky's POV

I stared at my phone that keeps on constantly buzzing for almost thirty minutes now. Peter keeps on calling but I'm not answering his calls.

What does he want now? He wants me to visit him? To pity him for what happened? I'm not stupid. He can't use the accident to make me do whatever he wants. I've learned my lesson and it's not easy to trust him again after what happened.

I washed the dishes after eating and grabbed my phone on the counter. I received a message from Peter and my hands started trembling after I read his message.

My breathing became hitched. There's a hollow space in my heart which got filled with sadness and fear as tears pooled in the corner of my eyes.

I couldn't take my eyes off the message.

'I'm gonna kill myself, Lucky. I will jump off this building. I'm telling you. I will jump.'

"Ah!" I screamed and threw my phone on the cold tile.
