Chapter 137 Declare A War

Lucky's POV

"He has another gunshot on the right side of his body and it's the most critical among the three gunshot wounds."

I swallowed hard. He got that when Damien rescued me. I didn't wanna hear about Rad's situation, but now I'm ready to hear it.

I bit my bottom lip and looked at Damien. It was Duncan who's reporting us about Rad's situation. After what happened a week ago, I don't have the courage to see him in the hospital. He's critical, but I don't feel any pity or sympathy at all. At least for me, I feel safe now that he's been caught.

Damien held my hand and squeezed them. I looked at him and found his eyes watching me. I gave him a small smile.

Duncan immediately left after the short conversation. Damien, on the other hand, sent Darya to bed while I prepared our bed.

That night, I fell asleep safe and sound, in my husband's arms. I just woke up the next day with a weak body and I felt like my stomach flipped upside down.

I rushed to the bathroom and puked in the lavatory.
