CHAPTER THIRTY NINE

MANNY

Andrew's father tried to control himself, he wasn't going to let loose in front of everyone.

He lifted his eyes from the paper and gave Andrew a death glare, his face hard with fury.

If eyes could kill, he'd surely be dead by now.

How could he do something so senseless?

After all his protestation?

He closed his eyes and visibly relaxed himself. He wasn't surprised, his son never listens to him anyway.

Always doing the opposite of what he was told. If not for the fact that Andrew was a chip of the old block, he would have wondered if he was truly his son.

“We won't be able to help you, Kate.”

Her smile slowly faded and a frown appeared on her face.

“Anyone can fake a DNA test, we will have to conduct one ourselves.” Mr Allen said and tossed the envelope on the table making her get them herself.

“I can always take my information to the media Allen.” Kate threatened.

Andrew's father smirked and then laughed.

Who did she think she was?

“Tell them and we'll give them money to cover
