The Triplets

Cassie's POV

It has been a week since my 17th birthday and Xander has brought the pack doctor to examine me.  Omegas conceive pups far easier than warriors.  We are waiting for the pregnancy test results.  "Cassie.  You are pregnant.  I will come back here once a week to examine you and see if your pup is growing right." The doctor said as he walked out.  Oh great.  Three months and Xander's pup will be born.  Omegas never get to hold their pups.  They give birth to the pup and the alpha assigns a new family to raise the pup.

Normally for a she-wolf hearing, those words are a great time but for me, as an Omega, those are the worse words I could have ever heard. I will not ever even hear the name of my pup. Never even get to see its face.  Sometimes I dream about being able to escape and be able to keep my pup as my pup but Xander is right. Even if I did escape all other wolves would know I was an Omega. At least being here I was treated right.

"Why are you crying?" Xander said as he sat down next to me.

"When I was a small child I wanted nothing more than to have a mate and lots of pups.  None of that is going to happen." I said.

"You're wrong.  You have a mate and the doctor just said that you're pregnant.  So you're going to have a pup in less than four months." Xander said as he wiped a stray tear away.

"But you don't want me to be your mate and I won't even get to meet this pup," I said still crying.

"You're right normally an Omega doesn't get to keep her pups but I am not prepared to raise my pups without their mother.  And I do want to be your mate that is why I accepted you after our first night together and why you now bare my mark." Xander said as he reached over and lightly touched the mark he had left there. 

As he touched the mark I instantly get electricity flowing from the mark.  I couldn't help but moan as he continued to press the mark.

Alpha Xander's POV

It was an enjoyable feeling to see Cassie get all breathless from me touching my mark.  I think I can get used to this.  "I think that if you give me a son I will announce to the pack that they have a new Luna," I said causing Cassie to smile.  Oh great moon goddess she is beautiful when she smiles.  I pulled her face toward mine as I pressed my lips into hers with as much passion as I could.

"But what will the warriors think?" Cassie asked as she looked down at her hands.

It has been a month since the doctor told us that Cassie was pregnant and today we find out if she is having a boy or a girl.  If the moon goddess wants Cassie to be the Luna of this pack then I will hear the words it's a boy.  "3 pups.  All three are boys." Dr. Johnson said as he looked up and smiled.  "Well, Cassie you will be having triplets.  Two of them are identical."

"It is Luna Cassie to you, doctor," I said as I tried but failed to remove the smile from my face.

"After you told me she was your mate I started to try and figure out how to hide the Omega sent.  While she is pregnant it will be hidden naturally but if you continuously impregnate her she will be unappealing to other males.  As well as when she is nursing her pups." The doctor said.

The doctor quickly left leaving Cassie and me alone.  "You don't have to have me as your Luna," Cassie said.

"As Alpha, I don't have to do anything I don't want to do but I love you, Cassie," I replied.  Cassie laid her head down on my lap and started to fall asleep. About two more months and I will be a father.
