LOGINWho do you think has Alessia? What do you think is happening to Azai?
I had gone willingly, been walked down to waiting cargo vans in silence. I hadn’t bothered asking who it was they worked for, I doubted they’d tell me since they hadn’t already. I was expecting a bag over my head but that’s not what happened at all. They got me settled in the van, then unexpectedly stuck me with a syringe and I’d blacked out. Now with no clue where I’d been taken, I started waking up. Be calm. Amara said to me, I don’t feel threatened. My vision was still a little blurry, I could tell the lighting was dim, but I was on something comfortable. A bed? Was I in the right place? Who was it that took me?My vision cleared up some more, and I was in a room, it wasn’t extravagant, but it was nice. A large four poster bed centered in the room was what I laid on, the comforter a deep maroon color, the walls were similar in color, with the bed and other furniture dark colored wood, the only light came from a dim table lamp on a bedside table. As I sat up slowly, I noted the dark
ZAINES POV:I was driving up to meet with Azai; I’d just gotten off the phone with Caleb who had let me know that Alessia had called. He was the first person to hear from her since she left, at least to our knowledge. If Alpha Austin had heard from her, he hadn’t said anything.Azai seemed to be becoming feral over Alessia’s disappearance, and it was only getting worse as more time passed. He was getting more difficult and was listening to reason less. He was convinced her disappearance was because of Prince Dimitri or Alpha Hunter, set on waging war against both in an attempt to track her down. Alpha Austin was the only thing keeping him at bay, he was sure she’d left of her own free will and would show up again when she was ready.Pulling in, the house he’d been building had been painted a deep blue color with black accents on the outside. It was finished about 2 months ago, but Azai didn’t care, he refused to live in it now. Currently still staying in the tent, if he even did that.
*9 months later*Spring was in the air. I was deep cleaning the little cabin I’d rented for Arabella and I. I had just gotten home a little bit ago from a run with my wolf and Arabella had left a note that she went to town with my babies to get groceries for the week. They were a couple months old, twins. A boy and a girl. Arabella helped deliver them here in the cabin. Both had their father’s tan skin, my son, Aizen, had his father’s honey eyes and my jet-black hair. My daughter Zahra had my same-colored eyes and her father’s dark brown hair color. I worried for her future, if she’d be cursed as being the Celestite wolf. If people would want to use her. No, I had to keep her safe.I walked outside to take out the trash and the hair on the back of my neck went up. It felt like I was being watched. I looked around and smelled the air but didn’t see or scent anything. Maybe it was time to move. We’d been here for 6 months, the best thing to keep us safe was to keep moving. I had no doubt
*Five days later*Alpha Azai POVIt was just over a month now since I’d been back to the packhouse. My construction crew was working nonstop on the house I had going up here in the clearing. I continued to stay in the tent. Zaine often brought me my evening meals and I’d be hunting in the morning while letting my wolf stretch his legs.I’d just gotten back from hunting when my phone rang. Looking at it, it was Alpha Austin.“Alpha Austin, I’d heard you returned home. How are you?” I asked him. Honestly, I didn’t care but pleasantries were required when I was trying to stay close to his sister.“Truthfully, I’ve been better Alpha Azai. I think we’ve got a problem,” he said gravely.“What’s going on?”“Caleb returned to Dark Moon, right?”“Yes, five days ago I believe. Why?”He sighed, “I thought maybe my sister went with him. The omegas went to turnover her room though before she returned home, and her phone and a bracelet were left on the table.”“Where is her mate?” I asked, my stoma
I racked my brain, trying to process any reason as to why Dimitri would feel the need to use a potion on me. Amara and I could only come back to one conclusion.Pulling back up at the packhouse there was a scene out front. Liam had his arms around Shayla who was crying and screaming. My brother stood at the doors, his face stern. I got out slowly, slowly trying to approach the situation. When Shayla finally noticed me was when she lost her mind even more.“You!” She screamed, “You bitch! What did you do?! You filled his head with lies, you’ve always hated me, you never wanted us together! What have you done!”I looked at my brother who only shook his head at me to not engage with her. As I turned away from her, heading up the steps inside she must have gotten out of Liam’s arms because all I heard next was a slapping sound. Turning around to look, Shayla was holding the side of her face, Caleb standing between us.“Caleb!” I gasped.“I only back handed her. I don’t care what her probl
Morning time came quickly and as I laid in the bed, thinking of the mess that my life has become in recent months my phone began to ring on my bedside table. I sighed, leaning over to see who it was. Dimitri. I silenced it and got out of bed, deciding to get ready for my day.At least then I’m able to say I was busy if he asks later why I didn’t answer him. I hadn’t spoken to him or even attempted to since he’d left. I pulled on a pair of jeans, a sweater and some boots that were appropriate for the snow outside.I took some medicine before storing it away in the bedside table again and leaving the room to head downstairs. I grabbed a chocolate muffin from the kitchen and began eating it as I walked out of the packhouse to the house next door that Dimitri had been staying in.Truthfully, I don’t think he truly had business at the capital, I think he just needed to get away from all the wolves around here. I had sent a message to Caleb to meet me in the driveway with a SUV but first I
