Chapter 36: Awe
I shut my eyes tightly. I don't want to recall Alforo watching me closely, like he's too much awe holding me close. I put aside my thoughts as Mommy's eyes sharply criticized me.
"Who delivered you, Ria?" Mommy uttered as I eyed her.
I bit my lip as his eyes met mine. She's not very vocal to boys or to my lovelife, that's why she asked me a question.
"Uhmm, Klaud cousin, My…" I said swiftly.
I saw his forehead frown immediately at me. Daddy eyes were on me now. It's Sunday and we're totally together here on our dining. Often, if they do not do much. I sighed knowing it.
