Lauren walked into the kitchen, oblivious to the fact that Damien had been snooping around. “Tea?” she asked him, he nodded in response and she put the kettle on the fire. “How are we going to do the test? We go together to a hospital, or we get a private doctor” She asked. Stones crunched under Damien’s tires as he pulled into the driveway where Lauren was waiting for him with Harry in her arms. He came out of the car and opened the door for her. “You did not have to do that,” She said as she got in, carrying the little boy close to her chest. Five minutes to go. Damien was furious but he didn’t let his anger consume him. he waited as they inspected his jet before deeming it safe for flying. He was going to his summer house in Hawaii, where he could unwind before thinking of the next thing to do. He checked his watch, he was already late.
