Luciana's POV
“You can grow plants again by just touching it with your hands?”
I bit my lower lips when Alpha Klein started asking. A deep breath escaped out of my throat as I turned my head in his direction.
“This is one of the things that I can do, Alpha Klein. I am good at growing plants,” I replied to him.
Klein tilted his head and put his hands inside his pockets. He looked at me intently and smiled.
“So, there should be no reason for them to degrade you. Don't worry, I will deal with everyone who will come in your way and hurt you.”
My heart pounded so fast from what Alpha Klein had mentioned to me. I looked at my friends from the back and now, they are smiling at me. I just bit my lower lips, preventing myself from blushing.
“I really appreciate it, Alpha Klein. However, you don't have to always look for me. I can handle myself already and nobody will ever bully me again.”
Klein nodded his head and said, “I know, but it's much better if I am beside you. No one will dare hurt you.”
In response to him, I nodded my head. Alpha Klein asked my permission that he's leaving and without further ado, I agreed. Having him next to me felt just so awkward, especially that my friends are here. They really expected that what Klein did was true.
After the Alpha left the boutique, I focused on dealing with my plants. My friends helped me, and it's now back to normal again. The boutique was fixed again.
“Maybe it's the perfect time for me to tell my father about Scarlet. He can raise the—”
I didn't allow Aurora to continue her words because I know what she will do. There's no need to do that. I will deal with them and I already have some plans against Scarlet.
“Girls, don't worry about me anymore. I will deal with them when they try to bully me again. As of now, let's not mind them. But once they try messing with us again, they will know what I can do to them.”
I almost gritted my teeth upon saying these words towards my friends, but I controlled myself. I just don't want anger to cover my heart.
“You already know whatever happens, we are always here to support you, Luciana. But maybe, it is the perfect moment for you to start fighting back just like what you did earlier. Don't let them continue to degrade you. They have to know that you're unique and one day, the pack will be needing you,” Calista asserted.
“Calista is right, Lucy. We know what are the things that you can do. You have so many abilities that no one knew about. You're better than Scarlet's group, and you're beautiful enough to be wasted by Alpha Massimo. Prove him that letting you go was the biggest mistake he made in his life,” Aurora agreed.
My hands turned into fists as I listened to my friends' heartwarming words. They were the living witness of all the things I've gone through.
And now, they are encouraging me to fight back. A smile formed on my lips as I looked at them straight in their eyes.
“Thank you for everything that the both of you are telling me now. Don't worry because there will be a great change with me after this day,” I responded to them, and my friends started nodding their heads.
After we settled the problem at the boutique, we returned to our cabins first. It's still early in the morning and I have so many things to do.
While walking in the street, I noticed some warriors struggling to walk. My brows furrowed as I looked at them carefully. There's something with how they walked and when I reached them, blood was flowing from their bodies.
I froze in my direction, my mouth widened from what I saw. The warriors were wounded, and they collapsed in front of me.
“H-Help…”
“We need your help…”
The wounded wolves started begging me. I clenched my fists, narrowing my eyes around. Some wolves are now looking at me, and they are approaching in my direction. Seeing them in this kind of situation, I've decided to help them.
The pack doctors are unable to reach and the lives of these warriors are critical. Their wounds are severe, and I'm afraid that they couldn't make it to the center.
“Don't worry, I will save all of you.”
There are just five wounded wolves. I know I can make it on time. But the problem is, I don't have my medicine with me.
I turned around and then saw a squirrel. She's looking at me as if she's watching over me.
“Hey, pretty. Can you please help me get my medicines?”
The squirrel immediately ran through my boutique. I can't help but smile from what I just did. And yes, I can talk to animals as well. I discovered this ability when I was still so young.
Despite my smell towards the wolves in this pack, I can attract all animals. They are not disgusted with me.
“Hold on, I will heal all of you.”
As I tore their clothes, I began to clean their wounds. In just a minute, the squirrel is back with the medicine I asked her to bring. The warriors are surprised from what they witnessed, but they are not paying attention to it for now.
What matters to them is their wound being healed and I started healing them, one-by-one. It wasn't hard for me to heal their wounds using my medicine. The first wolf survived and his wound finally disappeared. He was shocked as he looked at me, but I just smiled.
And I proceed to the other warriors. Just like the first one, I heal their wounds as well. Their strength is back to normal again, and I was relieved seeing them.
Glad, I made it. I just couldn't imagine these warriors dying in front of me. Even though I really don't want to show off my healing skills. But I have no choice.
“You saved us!”
“You were able to heal our wounds. How could you do that!?”
Disbelief was written on the warriors' faces when they looked at me. I bit my lower lips, my heart started pounding so fast.
“I'm glad that all of you are now safe,” I responded to them.
As one of the warriors was about to speak, he was suddenly interrupted by a male baritone voice.
“What's happening here?”
I froze in my direction, hearing that familiar voice.
“Alpha Massimo.”
The warriors bent their heads down to recognize his presence, while I stayed firm in my direction. The pounding of my heart is almost audible in my ears now.
“Is she making a fuss here again?”
I gritted my teeth, my hands were clenched because of his accusations.
“Alpha Massimo, Luciana is not making a fuss. She just saved us from a deep wound by some enemies that we encountered outside. Her healing skills saved us and this woman is truly incredible!”
Luciana's POVI was stunned from what I heard towards Massimo. I never expected that these words would come out from his lips.My teeth gritted in betrayal towards Massimo. I never expected him to say these words despite everything I did to the pack and to him. Did this mean he's still an asshole?F*ck. I would have known earlier.“Go on, and you'll taste my anger. You will witness how I killed your sister in front of you!”As Massimo uttered these words, my heart skipped a beat. My lips widened in disbelief when Massimo cleared his words a while ago.“If you hurt Luciana, I won't hesitate to kill Veronica. You don’t want her to die early, right?” Massimo gritted his teeth as he mentioned these words to Veronica's brother. When I turned my head at him, I could see darkness from his reaction. I smirked at him.“You really think you can overpower Alpha Massimo? The Alpha King?”Upon hearing this, he looked at me.“I know, but I don't give a f*ck. I will continue what I started. Veronica
Luciana's POV“You're not my sister, so don't say that I will believe you.”I smirked from what Veronica's brother had mentioned to me. Whatever words he's saying to me won't affect me at all. Not now.“I never intend to make you believe me. I was just stating the fact and if you don't like that, then leave this pack as soon as possible. You should go back to where you belong, but wait…” I smirked, staring at him. “Don't forget to bring your sister with you. She's an acclaimed Alpha, but she's a coward. It's just a girl's fight, yet she wants you to get involved.”When Veronica's brother heard these words, he gritted his teeth. He's looking at me now like he wanted to get rid of me. I couldn't help but shake my head in response.“You're really bold, huh? Are you not afraid that I might tell my warriors to spray their weapon and cover this pack with the wolfsbane? You know, the pack will be unable to escape from it. We already surrounded the pack, while your said Alpha is not doing any
Luciana's POV“Here they are…”I felt my friends moved closer to me when I mentioned these words. They started to feel nervous, their eyes fixed on the door.“W-What should we do now, Luciana?” Calista asked behind my back.I bit my lower lips, still focusing my eyes on the door. The bang continued, until the door was destroyed.A group of wolves came inside, their lips curled into a smirk. Their eyes landed on me, and the reaction to their faces brightened.“Where is Luciana Hart?”One of them asked us, making my heart pound. I could feel my friends at the back shaking in fear. But, I remained bold. I never let the enemies see what I really felt. And deep inside, I am really afraid because my friends are with me. I don't want something to happen to them, as well as the pack.Seeing them looking at me, I have this feeling that these wolves are into me. It's not the pack that they wanted to have.“It's me.”My friends gasped at the back when they heard me speak.“Luciana, don't speak!”
Luciana's POVAlpha Veronica was triggered with my statement. She attacked me without a warning, but before she could punch me in the face, I captured her hand. Her eyes widened in surprise as she looked at me, making me smirk.“Where do you really get this kind of strength, Luciana?” Veronica asked, her tone almost stammering.I just shook my head, forcing her hand down. She grimaced in pain and I could see it from her face.“I think I don't need to answer your f*cking question, Veronica. You see what you need to see, and don't wait for me to lose control over you. I just really don't like annoying wolves and I know I haven't done anything to all of you,” I muttered in a cold tone. But, Alpha Veronica just gritted her teeth. She pulled her away from my grasp and I decided to release her. I think she won't do anything against me anymore.“You really think you don't do anything against me, Luciana? Have you forgotten the moments you were with Massimo and he lost time to be with me!?”I
Luciana's POVI never expected to find out how close Massimo's face was to mine. My heart pounded so fast when our eyes suddenly met with each other. I opened my mouth, while staring at Massimo's handsome face. And the way he looked at me…It's captivating. His eyes filled with pleasure that nobody can deny when they see it. His eyes were asking me to give in and as I continued reading him, my body started turning on. It's as if, all the things that we did last night suddenly flashes back into my mind.“M-Massimo, what are you doing?” I did my best not to stammer and also, I did my best to look at him deep into his eyes. But Massimo's presence is really difficult to avoid. As I keep staring at him, it seems like he's taking all the strength that I have inside to decline.“Luciana…” Massimo muttered in his low voice. “You are so beautiful. You captivated me in everything you did. I just can't forget the things that we did last night and it still bothers me until now. It's still…”He p
Luciana's POVMy eyes widened from Massimo's statement. I just looked at him in awe, until he burst out into laughter. And because of what he did, I started furrowing my brows.“Of course, we're going inside in your cabin because you need to give me an anti-wolfsbane that you made. I think I'm needing it now,” Massimo added.I shook my head, while my lips formed into a smirk. It was Massimo who furrowed his brows now when he noticed I moved my hand to touch his forehead. Confused about what I was about to do, he looked away.“What are you doing?”I chuckled, “I'm just going to give you another treatment because you seemed to be out of your mind, Alpha Massimo.”“What the hell? I am not insane, Luciana,” he defended.“I know you're not, but you started showing some symptoms. I'm afraid that you will totally lose your mind and I can't—”Massimo didn't allow me to finish my sentence when he suddenly covered my mouth with his hand.“We don't have enough time to talk about nonsense things,
