Chapter 15 | Evening
I turned around and cast a glance at the approaching Luna. She kept her gaze fixed on us and planted a subtle smile on her delicate face. The Luna walks with grace, carrying that always bright aura – not the kind of bright aura that will hurt your eyes but that brightness where it calms you down. I smiled and Nix found my face looking somewhere else then he followed my gaze.
Nix smiled as Luna approached and patted his shoulder. "Mary, how are you? How are things going?" he asked.
The Luna sighed in relief. "Good. I just need to figure out where your mate is going to sleep tonight. After that, my evening tasks will be complete."
Nix and I both turned red at the subject while Luna giggled at our reaction. Even if the mate bond was only partially formed and is not yet complete, most mates were unable to sleep if they were separated. I slowly awoke and realized I couldn't move my legs. I opened my eyes and blinked in the dim morning light streaming in through the window. Once we were done arranging Tiffany’s new clothes inside her huge closet, we decided to head out and shift into our wolf form.
